You and Wanda knew whatever fun yous had was limited, it wasn't going to turn into a relationship, as much as Wanda would be okay with being with you, you still were hanged up on the Russian.

You were hurt deeply by her, but you managed to live with the pain that was inside your chest, especially being away from the Avengers, you had that peace for the time being.

You were distracted by Wanda every night, she visited you too many times to admit it, she was running away from the feeling of being alone too until she met someone.

Yous stopped hooking up, which was okay by you, it did keep you away from circling back to Natasha but if she was happy then you wouldn't be in the way of that.

The idea of having someone with you was bearable but now you were alone with your feelings, it wasn't just the pleasure you were after but having Wanda made you forget.

Made you forget that it was all the soft touches, gentle smiles and loving gestures that you missed, it was easier to forget than to properly deal with it.

But as things started to slowly get better, you were able to function normally alone until you had received a call from Fury for an upcoming mission that needed everyone.

You sighed and agreed to his pleading, you were needed for you team so you put your big girl pants and decided to just deal with everything.

It has been almost a year since you seen everyone from the team, so it was definitely nice thought of catching up, listening to them argue which you missed.

You hoped in a way that Natasha wouldn't be there, you knew it wasn't possible but still hoped that maybe, maybe she would be away for something.

But then deep down you hoped to see her again, you were having mix feelings, that's for sure. But had to show up either way so you did, you knew not really many people knew about your little adventure with Wanda.

It was okay even if they knew, they just didn't really care to ask why she was spending an excessive amount of time with you. It didn't really matter, it was really your and Wanda's business.

Wanda always laughed at how Carol always tried to get back with her, not that she ever was successful anyway, but she tried until she gave up.

You informed Wanda about you coming, she knew you would be still on the fence about this whole idea of seeing everyone, but she was there for you.

You trusted Wanda and ever since the break up with Natasha and Carol, yous had gotten closer, like best friend closer, sleeping together was just something to ease the worry.

Not the best idea but it at least helped to move on, you tried, in that course of nearly a year, you tried to go out on dates but ended up staying inside your house, not really knowing if the date was a good idea yet.

But it didn't matter anyways, now you had to focus on the mission and that's what you did, you arrived on the same day, wondering if anything has changed.

But you noticed that not really, everyone was talking, reuniting with those who returned and it was just a nice sight to see a big bright smile across everyone's faces.
