This is it.

Today is the day I face my biggest fear... People.

"Camz, hey! Wake up!" Lauren shouted as she shook my body.

"Yes, yes. I'm awake," I got up and rubbed my eyes.

"Are you excited?"

"Uh... I don't know. Maybe? I really don't know," I said honestly, grabbing my phone to tweet on my fan account, but Lauren snatched my phone away from me.

"You need to minimize using social networks and start meeting real-life people," she snapped at me.

"They're REAL people, too, Lolo."

"I know, but you know what I mean. Tonight's party will be the biggest party EVER, so you better prepare. You know Normani's friends, they're really cool people. They might look intimidating, but they're the total opposite. Trust me."

"Yeah... sure," I answered. I'm really not feeling this whole party thing. I was excited yesterday, but today... I don't know.

"Come on, do you want me to train you or something?"

"You're stupid, and you made it sound like I'm your pet or something," I threw a pillow at her and laughed.

"Come on, I just wanna help. I don't want you to look helpless later."

"Shut up, Jauregui. I promise I'll be fine."

"KARLA CABELLO!!!!!!!!"

"Sheesh, Lauren. Calm down!"

"Hurry up, we're gonna be late! You don't wanna be the last one to get the hot chicks."

"I won't be going to the party to get laid, I don't mind at all."

Lauren chuckled, "That's bullshit, Camz. I know you're gonna get some toni-"

Just as she was going to finish her sentence, the doorbell rang.

"That's Austin. C'mon, we gotta get going," Lauren said as she grabbed my hand and pulled me downstairs. She didn't even give me the chance to ask why Austin was picking us up.

I opened the door and there stood an extremely attractive young man.

"Hey, Camila... You look amazing," he said.

"You, too, Austin. You look different, I didn't recognize you."

"It's the hair, you know," he answered and ran his fingers through his new undercut hair.

"Hey hey hey hey hey!" Lauren interrupted and swatted our hands. "He's my date tonight, okay? Stop flirting and pay some respect!"

It was silent.

"Loosen up, I was kidding. But he's still my date for tonight," Lauren said in between laughs.

"I'd probably find you after a few minutes making out with someone who's definitely not me," Austin teased.

"Can we just go? You guys are so icky," I snapped at them.

"Looks like someone is excited... Alright, hop on!" Austin said as we made our way through his car.

We arrived at Normani's house and it was already packed with people. I'm actually quite surprised that Normani didn't blast her Beyonce playlist for this party.
