It was difficult getting used to being a girl, although there wasn't much change in my life. Only that the boys called me she rather than he. I still wore boy's clothes so people still assumed I was a boy at first glance.

The biggest change was the lack of stress. The only thing that was on my mind a lot of the time before was my secret. Now that it was out, I was basically stress free. Except, of course, keeping myself alive.

I had also gotten used to seeing Spot with Beth all the time. It was no longer a stabbing feeling in my chest. I was beginning to get over it. In fact, I was hanging out with them a lot.

"Hey, Nicky," Spot called out when he saw me. He waved me over to him and Beth. Before I could even take a step he yanked his arm away from her and jogged over to me. "I'll be right back," He told Beth.

She blew him a kiss, making me gag. He looked like he might puke as well. He smiled, but it was obviously fake. His smile immediately dropped when his face was out of her sight.

He sighed deeply when he made it over to me. He looked absolutely thrilled to get away from her. "Help me," He whispered.

"With what?"

"Her." He gestured back to Beth.

"What about 'er?"

"She's so annoying."

"Don't you like her?" I asked.

He gave me a desperate look and gripped my shoulders. "I can't get rid of her," He whined, shaking me.

"Why did you even start talking to her?" I interrogated, pushing Spot away from me.

"No reason."

"Surely," I said, not convinced.

"Fine." His face went red. He stared at the ground guiltily. "I thought it would make ya jealous."

I chuckled to myself, slightly relieved. "How's that workin' out for ya?"

"Well, I didn't know she was crazy!"

"She likes you, so she must be."

He gave me a dirty look. "Hey, she liked you too."

I cringed at his statement, heat rushing to my face. "We don't talk about that."

"Oh really?" He asked with a smirk, "Well then I guess I have to-" I shoved him to the ground. He yelped as he fell, then he glared up at me. "Point taken."

"Good."

He grabbed at my pant leg, staring up at me with desperate eyes. "Please help me," He begged. I shook him off, rolling my eyes.

"Fine, just stop actin' like a five year old," I agreed. He hopped up from the ground and squeezed me in a hug.

"Thank you!"

"Yeah, yeah, let go o' me." I struggled away from his arms that were tightly wrapped around me, making it impossible to move. He wore a grateful grin when I was finally released.

I watched Beth. I wasn't one hundred percent sure on how to do this. It was easy for me, but I wasn't sure how Spot would do it. I didn't want to hurt her feelings.

"What do I do?" Spot asked, standing over my shoulder. I could feel his breath on me.

"Firstly, I need ya ta stop breathin' down my neck." Spot took a step back.

"Seriously, Nicky. I need to get rid of 'er. Like, now. She's drivin' me absolutely nuts. What should I do?"

"I dunno. Why'd you ask me for help, anyway?"
