Tenma's POV
Okay, so I got Y/n some flowers, hopefully that makes up for what I did. I walked towards her house and knocked on the door. No one answered. I knocked again and no one answered.
"She's probably gone out." I thought. I walked away from the door and looked around the area for her.
"Where is she?" I said.
"Where's who?" A familiar voice said. It was Aoi. She stood infront of me and was holding bag in her hand.
"Aoi!" I said and smiled at her. She smiled back.
"Ooo~ who's the flowers for?" Aoi asked with a smirk.
"It's for.. uh.. Aki-nee, it's her birthday?" I said, trying to make up an excuse. Surprisingly, she believed me,
"Also have you seen Y/n? I can't seem to find her." I asked. Aoi nodded.
"Why?" She asked, easing a brow at me.
"No reason, I just need her help with something."
"Oh! She's at Sangoku-senpai's house! I saw her walking to the store with him and I decided to talk to them. Y/n said she was going to be at Sangoku-senpai's house for the day."
"Thanks Aoi! I'll see you next Monday!" I said, waving goodbye to her. She did the same and walked off.
"Okay, now I just need to find his house!" I looked around.
"Where's his house again..?"
Your POV
"Thanks for letting me spend the day here, Sangoku-senpai." I said, placing the bags full of food on the kitchen counter.
"No problem. You can come here any time! My mom doesn't mind you here either." He says, taking the things out of the bag. "You spend a lot of your time here anyways, I'm so used to you being around."
"O-oh yeah, true." I said, helping his take the things out of the bag. "When's your mom coming back?" I asked.
"In a few hours. She finishes late today. I'm going to start preparing her dinner in an hour. " I nodded and we both put away the things we had bought.
"How's your first year at Raimon going?" Sangoku asked. He sat down at the table. I sat on the chair opposite him.
"It's going great, just not my first day." I said.
"Oh yeah, your first day was embarrassing. Who was it because of again? I forgot who it was." Sangoku asked.
"Tenma, he ruined my uniform by throwing water at me and my shirt and everything was all soaked. He said it was an accident but you don't accidentally throw a bucket of water at someone, do you?" I rolled my eyes at the thought of the incident.
"Tenma doesn't seem like the type to do those sort of things." Sangoku stated. He then got up and started to make tea.
"You don't understand, Senpai! Who carries around a whole bucket of water in school? Plus, I thought he was going to be playing soccer all day, you know, because of the whole fifth sector thing and how Tsurugi was working for them." I complained. Sangoku chuckled.
"You two have a strange relationship. You hate each other sometimes and other times you get along so well." He said, looking for the sugar.
"I know.." I muttered. "Can I ask you something, Senpai?" Sangoku nodded. He walked over to the table and placed a cup of tea infront of me. He began to sip his tea.
"Well, whenever I'm around Tenma, I get this weird feeling. Almost like I want to be around him more often, do you get what u mean?" Sangoku began to choke on his tea.
"S-sangoku-senpai! Are you okay!" I walked over to him and pat his back. He coughed a bit more and then put his thumbs up.
"I'm okay.. I'm just shocked." He said.
"Shocked? Why?"
"I didn't think you'd feel that way around Tenma. Especially since you two seem to fight a lot."
"We stopped fighting after that day in the arcade. He seems to flirt with me a lot more too. Oh, I'm ignoring him by the way." I said, taking a sip of my tea.
"Why?"
"He checked my messages with Fei." I said, frowning slightly. "I still can't believe he did that."
"Why would he do that?" Sangoku asked. I shrugged.
"Wait so you're like inlove with Tenma, right?" Sangoku said. I nodded.
"Just be careful around him, some people aren't who you think they are." Sangoku sighed.
"That's the second time someones told me that when I said I liked him." I whispered to myself.
"Really? Who else have you told?"
"Shindou. He asked me if I did and I said I think I do."
"Ah, I see."
*knock knock*
"You want to get the door or should I get it?" I asked. Sangoku got up and opened it. Standing there was Tenma, he had flowers in his hand. They were my favourite flowers.
"I heard Y/n is here so.." Tenma looked around and saw me. We had made eye contact. I quickly looked away and pretended to be doing something.
"Y/n's kinda busy so.."
"But she's right there." Tenma pointed at me.
"Sangoku just let him in." I said. He nodded and allowed Tenma to enter the house.
"I got these for you." He handed me the flowers. I blushed a little.
"Thank you." I muttered.
"I'm sorry about earlier, I just.. I don't know why I did what I did." He apologised. "I don't know what was going through my head back there.." he scratched the back of his head.
"Thanks for apologising. I just want to know how you knew I was here? In fact, you always know where I am for some reason, care to explain?" I asked.
"I asked Aoi and she said she saw you with Sangoku-senpai so I looked around for his house." He explained. I simply nodded.
"I should get going now.. so uh.. bye Y/n, Sangoku-senpai." Tenma ran out of the door.
"That was kind of.. awkward, wasn't it?" I said.
"Mhm, I'm guessing you won't see him until Monday."
"Most likely, only if the team and managers aren't planning to meet up tomorrow or on Sunday."
"I think we should start cooking dinner now, what would you like?" He asked.
"Anything would be good!" We went to the kitchen and began making some food for me, Sangoku-senpai and his mom.
