Chapter 17

No one's POV

The girl was heading over to the riverbank to see a certain brunette boy. She couldn't be more excited, but she decided to keep on her 'I don't like you' act. The girl didn't want him knowing that she still had feelings for h8m. She had finally arrived to the riverbank and looked around for him.

"Y/n! Over here!" A voice said from afar. Y/n looked over to see Tenma waving his left hand at her. In his other hand, he had something in it. Y/n couldn't really see it since she was kind of far away. She began to walk closer and noticed that e had put his right hand behind him, hiding the object from her.

"I'm glad you came Y/n!" Tenma smiled. The two were only a few steps away from each other.

"It would be embarrassing if I hadn't shown up." The girl replied. "So.. why did you ask me to come here?"

"W-well.. I was wondering.. wait, have you read the whole letter? Like, did you skip any parts of it?" Tenma asked. The girl shook her head.

"I read it all, especially the last bit." Y/n said, her face heating up a bit.

"That's good. I have something for you." The brunette took his hand from behind his back and In his hand was a red tulip. "I decided not to go with a rose this time. I found out that a red tulip means 'believe me' or 'my feelings are true."

"Thank you.. Matsukaze.."

"Please, don't call me Matsukaze anymore, you've been calling me that every since the whole incident and to be honest I prefer it when you call me Tenma!" Tenma explained, Y/n only nodded.

"Now, let me tell you why I invited you here! You may know I still have feelings for you, and I know you might still be mad at me for what I did and I'm truly sorry. I just wanted to make it clear that.. I really love you! I love you with my whole heart, I would do anything just to see you smile, Y/n. I love you more than soccer!" Tenma confessed, this was the second time this year. Y/n's eyes widened.

"Woah, woah, woah! More that soccer?" Y/n asked in disbelief. Tenma really loves soccer, he would do anything to protect it. In fact, he even time travelled to save soccer, not to mention he had saved the whole galaxy to protect earth and all other planets using soccer.

"Mhm! So please, can we.. how do I say it? Do you.. love me still..?" Tenma asked quietly. He looked away from the girl, rubbing his head slightly.

Y/n walked closer to him and gave him a quick peck on the lips.

"Of course I do.." she whispered. She walked back to her original spot and stood there, smiling. The boy was still processing what happened. His face became really hot and he looked like he was about to pass out.

"Y-y-you kissed me!" He yelled, touching his lips.

"Yes I did, why? Did you not like it?" Y/n asked, she was wondering if he didn't want a kiss at all.

"N-no it's just.. I wanted to be the one to kiss you." He muttered. Tenma walked over to Y/n and stood infront of her. "Do you mind if I.. kiss you?" He asked, gently grabbing her chin. The girl smiled, indicating that it was okay for him to do so. He leaned in and gave her a short, but sweet kiss. Y/n immediately kissed him back. The kiss lasted for about 10 seconds. Tenma pulled away from the kiss and took a deep breath before smiling at Y/n. He licked his lips and smiled.

"Your lips taste like chocolate, you know that, right?" He asked.

"Oh yeah, I stole Aoi's chocolate at lunch." Y/n said.

"YOU STOLE MY WHAT!" Aoi yelled, jumping out from the bushes. This caused the duo to look at her, confused.

"A-Aoi?" Y/n said. Aoi looked around and scratched her head.

"Aoi, you idiot! We told you not to say anything!" Another voice from the bush said.

"Yeah! Tenma told us to jump out after he-"

"Guys they're looking at us.."

Y/n walked over and saw that the whole soccer team was hiding.

"You guys are here?" She asked, her eyebrows raised.

"Mhm! Tenma said once he confessed to you, we were going to jump out and surprise you!" Hikaru said.

"Yeah, and we got nice pictures of you two kissing!" Akane said, handing the camera to Midori.

Y/n began to blush furiously. Tenma walked over to them all and put and arm around Y/n.

"I still haven't finished, will you go out with me Y/n?" Tenma asked. Y/n nodded and Tenma gave her a quick kiss on her cheek.

"Aww~" the team cooed. Tenma and Y/n shrugged before having their own conversation about who knows what.

~Time skip to when they graduate High school~

No one's POV

The graduation ceremony had just finished and both Y/n and Tenma where sitting beside a tree, talking about what they wanted to do after they both leave high school.

"Are you going to go university to study soccer!" Y/n asked. Tenma simply nodded.

"I want to become the best soccer player in Japan, I also want to make soccer hapoy!" The boy grinned.

"Well, soccer isn't a living thing so I don't understand how you're going to make it happy, but I support you decisions either way!" The girl laughed at the brunette who was now pouting.

"You can make soccer happy! If you're playing it with spirit and passion, it will be happy." Tenma took a strand of the girls hair and wrapped it around his finger. "What are you going to study in university?"

"I'm not sure yet, maybe criminology?" The girl answered.

"How about I take you out for dinner today? Will that be okay with your parents? Shall I ask them?" Tenma said, reaching in his pockets for his phone.

"Yeah, I'm sure it's fine, they know I'm safe as long as I'm with you." She replied, placing her head on his shoulder. The boy smiled at what she had said to him.

"Matsukaze Tenma.." she whispered. Tenma looked at her, kind of concerned since she had said his full name.

"You are one of a kind.."

Shitty ending. I know, I just couldn't think of a better one, I should of copied an ending from my English book but I don't have it with me right now. Anyways, sadly, this is the end of this book! Thank you all for reading this! This is my first book thst I've actually completed, my other killua Zoldyck on is discontinued due to lack of reads. I'm thinking about if I should make an 'inazuma eleven go - one shots' book so let me know if I should do so!
