Chapter 11

(This chapter is about how you and Tenma met.)

Your POV

I was laying down on the sofa while Sangoku-senpai was cleaning the the living room. I offered to help him clean but he refused to let me touch the broom. He had forced me to sit on the sofa and do whatever while he was cleaning. I was getting bored and decided to look at some photos from the start of the year. As I was scrolling through my camera roll, I came across a picture of me and Tenma. It was from the first day of school. Aoi had taken a picture of us arguing. We hadn't found out about the picture until she had shown me during soccer practice. We were arguing about the whole 'accident' where Tenma said he had 'accidentally' threw a whole bucket of water at me. I sighed and remembered about my whole first day of junior high.

Flashback

"I can't wait! It's my first day of junior high!" I said, looking at the school. I was attending Raimon junior high which is famous for its soccer club. I wanted to join as a manager.

"The school is so huge! I have a few minutes until I have to go to the induction ceremony so I want to explore!" I thought to myself. I saw a huge field and walked up to it.

"Keep running everyone!" I heard a voice yell. It was a boy with greyish-hair. He had an arm band on. He must be the captain of the team. I could see a guy with curly hair sitting on the bench. He had gloves on. I decided to walk up to him.

I sat down on the bench beside him and smiled.

"Hello! I'm L/n Y/n, but you can call me Y/n!" I held out my hand.

"Are you a first year?" He asked. I nodded.

"I'm Sangoku Taichi, nice to meet you, L/n." He shook my hand.

"It's fine, no need to call me by my last name. I prefer it when people call me by my first name." The boy nodded.

"Aren't you meant to be at the induction ceremony now?" He asked.

"It doesn't start for a while so I decided to come here." I said.

"If you need help with anything in school let me know, I'm a third year by the way so I know my way around here." He gave me a thumbs up.

"Sangoku, who is that?" The greyish-haired boy walked over to the bench, a pink-haired boy following behind him.

"Her name is L/n Y/n, but she prefers it when you call her Y/n. She's a first year." He pointed over to me.

"Are you planning to join as a manager?" The pink-haired boy asked. I nodded.

"Well you're going to have to ask coach." The greyish-haired boy said.

"I'm Kirino Ranmaru and that's Shindou Takuto." Kirino said. I nodded. Before I could speak, we all heard a loud bang. I turned my head and covered my ears.

"What was that?" I could hear one of the team members say. They all decided to head over.

"C-can I come?" I asked Sangoku-senpai. He nodded. We all ran over there.

End of flashback

"Eh, the whole Tsurugi situation gives me a head ache, let me try remember what happened after the induction ceremony." I said to myself.

"Are you still talking to yourself, Y/n?" Sangoku-Senpai asked. I nodded.

"What is it about this time?" He asked.

"I'm thinking about that time when we first met and now I'm trying to remember the whole incident that happened between me and Tenma. There was an important detail that I have to try and remember from that incident. I just can't remember what it was.." I said. I suddenly remembered what it was.
