I slid my back against the lockers and got out my phone. Someone was messaging me. It was after school hours right now and the only people at school were the people who have after school clubs to attend to and the teachers who have papers to mark. I was in school for neither of those reasons.

Sangoku-senpai is messaging me? I wonder why.

I went to our chats and he kept spamming my name. I was praying it was nothing too bad, for example I was hoping he didn't find out about one of the tests I failed even though he helped me revise for two whole days.

I swear, Sangoku-Senpai acts like my older brother sometimes. Well, most times. School was going to close soon since the clubs finish at 4:40pm. I didn't want to go home, mainly because I was alone most of the time, my parents are rarely at home and when they are, they barely notice me. They're both so caught up with work and it makes me sad knowing that they probably forget I exist sometimes. So usually, I just go to wherever I feel like, as long as it isn't home. I got up off the floor and headed out of the school. I was going to walk near the riverbank by myself for a while. I got out my headphones and put them on my ears. I played my favourite song and walked to the riverbank.
