Riftan Calypse was awake in the early morning hours before the sun began to rise, preparing for a long day of training the knights in the Annex and anticipating his lands. Riftan continued to walk down the castle hallways; he was being followed, big dark-coloured eyes watching his every move in the distance.
Riftan stopped in his tracks and quickly looked at his surroundings like a hawk; as his eyes landed on a tiny little girl hiding behind a pillar, Riftan laughed as he stood still like a statue, wondering what on earth was Lucina trying to do.
While Riftan took one step backward and another, Lucina observed her father confused by his wired litigations.
" I wonder who is following me; I must be so Frightened by the little ghost who is living in my castle," Riftan said in a sarcastic tone,
Lucina faced her back to the round pillar, giggling to herself to avoid being caught. She thought her father hadn't seen her, but she soon turned around and saw her father vanish like thin air.
"Where did Rossem Wigrew's incarnation go". Lucina thought to herself.
"I got you." Riftan pounced as he lifted His daughter off the ground; she twirled her in the air, squealing in excitement, and Lucina snuggled into her father's arms. It has been two weeks since Riftan met his daughter for the first time, and those weeks made a complete difference.
Lucina's attitude towards her father changed drastically in just a fortnight. Far from the Petrified little girl on the brink of tears when she first set eyes on him to a charismatic, sweet, bubbly child who constantly never left her father's side.
"My darling light, why are you up so early, it's not even sunrise, and you should be asleep in your chambers". Riftan asked as he wondered why Lucina was up so early.
" I want to wake up early today, to be with you all day, only see you, and I don't see Mumm; she's busy taking care of the castle and the strange people who are always coming in and out".
Lucina called out, trying to catch up to her father as she followed him around for half the day like a lost puppy following a stranger.
It has been almost a week and a half since Riftan met his daughter for the first time, and those weeks made a complete difference. Lucina's Perception Of her father changed drastically in just a fortnight. Far from the Petrified little girl on the brink of tears when she first set eyes on him to a charismatic, sweet, bubbly child who constantly never left her father's side.
" Mummy has been busy planning the castle renovations to make our home more presentable. I know it's not as Splendid. Back at Your grandfather's castle, I will make sure that your life here will be just as luxurious, I promise.
Hearing the words from her father's lips, Lucina frowned and leaned on her father's chest; he had no idea about the life of curly and torment she had to go through behind closed doors, not wanting to tell her father but didn't know how to.
" I want to come with you today".
"What are you talking about". Riftan asked
"I want to be with you today, by your side". Lucina answered
Riftan looked at his daughter with hesitation across his face, and he did have a long day ahead of him, a pile of duties that some a chat shouldn't witness or worry about. Still, Lucina fired with Determination at her father, her face pouting as her dark eyes shot him like a target.
