An: I have finally finished the first part. I wanted to add more to this chapter, but I wanted to get it finished and published for everyone to read it. There is so much more I want to write about in this chapter. I'll do the second half for part 2 when they finally arrive in Anatol and some adorable moments to come.

As the days passed by, the long Journey to Anatol, Lucina watched from the carriage window at the scenery of the lush green forest move like a beautiful landscape portrait, enjoying looking at the different animals that she spotted outside the window. A flok of geese flew beyond the bright autumn sky.

" look, Mummy; I can see birds in the sky". Lucina chirped as she jumped with excitement on the velvet seat as her tiny hands tapped on the glass window.

" L-Lucina, don't jump l-like that Y-you will H-hurt yourself. Maxi said in a worried voice.

" Sorry, Mummy". Lucina sighed. It was her and her mother's first time outside Croix castle. The little girl was excited about the new surroundings of the forest on the Journey to Anatol.

Lucina crawled away from the carriage window and sat next to her mother, leaning on her arm. The soft red dress across her cheek the soft velvet fabric felt like a soft pillow.

Maxi gazed down at her daughter with her snow-like eyes as she gently stroked Lucina's dark hair; Maximilian looked outside the carriage window at Riftan, who was riding his horse with his men.

Riftan glanced at Maxi as she quickly turned her head away and sighed with a heavy heart.

" We will rest here for tonight", Riftan informed as the knights unloaded the equipment to camp for the night; they built the tents and started the fires to keep warm from the chilly air as they removed their amour to slowly unwinds their aching muscles from a long day of riding on horseback.

The first two nights together at the inn where they made love for the first time in three years and a crowded barn. Maxi Had gotten used to camping but was anxious about why her husband avoided her.

"My lady, is everything okay".

Maxi snapped out of her daydreams to see Ruth Sebel, the wizard of the Remdragon knights staring down at her with a concerned look on his face.

" S-Sir R-ruth". Maxi stuttered, surprised at the young silver-haired wizard's sudden appearance in front of her.

"I can't imagine how mentally exhausting it must have been to travel with a small child."

" I-its okay, S-sir R-Ruth I'm A-aright, Y-you D-don't H-have to W-worry A-about M-me".

Ruth stared close-up at Maxi's porcelain face and noticed the dark circles around her eyes; Maxi didn't realise travelling with a small child was more complicated than it looked.

Lucina was a ball of energy, jumping on the carriage seats shouting with excitement as she admired the animals in the forest, and her voice was repeating in Maxi's head, asking if we were there yet. The only quiet moment was when Lucina was napping and tiring herself out.

" if it's not too much trouble, I could watch Lucina for a few hours while you rest". Ruth offered the shy Maximilian, " there are some herbs I have to find, besides little lady Calypse would enjoy the fresh air.

Maxi hesitated about letting Ruth watch her daughter for a few hours, fearing the nightmare of having her daughter taken away from her as her father had ordered. However, looking at Ruth's face, it was clear that he had no intention of doing such an atrocious thing as taking her daughter away from her.

"O-okay, P-please is C-careful A-and D-Don't go Too F-far".

After hopping out of the carriage, Lucina followed Ruth to the Forest, not far from the campsite. The little girl spent the next two hours playing in the Forest, releasing the extra energy from her body by jumping on the logs and large rocks and looking at the fish by the stream.
