"so, you drive with josh often?"

"we take turns driving to school since we just live a few houses away from each other"

we arrived at sarah's and it was massive. my house could fit in there like it was a bedroom.

"hello mister knight" a doorman says as we pulled up to the gate.

"hey geoff, i'm just here with scarlett valdez"

"very well, she's on the list, you may go in"

i send a wave as the gate opened.

"shit, that is so cool"

"right? still so weird to get used to"

we park on her massive driveway and i see scout and josh both pull in.

"geoff is awesome!" scout exclaims as she parks.

"well get used to it! if you sit with our group, you get invited my place weekly!" sarah says opening the front door.

all of us walk in and it was stunning. scout and i's jaw dropped as we looked at each other.

"oh good safiya you're here and you don't have that disgusting makeup on!" sarah says as safiya rolls her eyes.

"hey scar, hey scout" she says walking upstairs.

all of us sat in the living room and once the boys started to play on the ps5, sarah and the girls needed to have an 'important chat' with scout and i.

"okay, we're here to warn you about everyone! we've been raised with half of these people so we definitely know what we're talking about" sarah says.

"yeah, it's both of your last years so you don't have enough time to get to know everyone the way we know them. we don't want you's hanging with the wrong people" jade adds.

"who are the wrong people?" scout asks.

"honestly, everyone but us. that only applies to the girls though. to the boys, it's a different story. for example, landon over there, you don't talk to him" one of the girls whisper.

i turn and noticed a tall boy with dark hair, green eyes, an eyebrow slit and tattoos all over his forearm.

"he may look all cute and stuff now but he will try to trap you!" sarah adds.

i didn't want to know how he could 'trap' us so i don't think i'm gonna ask her to elaborate on that one.

"ok, who else?"

they go through most of the soccer boys and tell us each of their life stories. alleged rapist, spiked a drink, been to jail, anger issues, has a psycho ex girlfriend. we basically knew everything about everyone now.

"now taitan is an angel, he's one of the guys that we have nothing bad to say about" sarah says.
"so he's definitely perfect for you scarlett!"

"oh it's my first day so i don't really know if it's ever gonna be a thing or not"

"we saw how you were looking at eachother in the car park! oh and josh also has nothing against him but he's off limits!" jade adds.

"yeah, josh and i have been a thing for a few years now! everyone knows not to get in between us because i really think he's gonna ask me to be his girlfriend at the party this weekend!"

"josh you dick! how did you lose?"

we all turn to the boys fighting about fifa. boys these days.

"anyway, while i slip into something more comfortable, you's can pick a movie for us to watch" sarah says.
