"what is up with you today, you know you're better than this!"

"don't worry coach, he's just experiencing withdrawals from that nyash" someone joked.

"what is that, a drug?"

"no coach, it's nothing. i'll be better next week, i promise"

it was our first saturday morning game and i messed up badly. i have accepted that if my scarlett wanted to come back, she would and that i shouldn't wait on it. dropping sarah started to improve my mental health as well but clearly the lack of sex has made my physical abilities weaken. sarah's cousin is throwing a party tonight and even though sarah probably won't want me there anymore, i'm still gonna come.

"i gotta go, i gotta get ready for my date" taitan said as he rushed to get changed.

"date? since when do you date?" someone asked.

"yeah, who's the poor lady?" landon says with an obnoxious laugh.

"landon, out!" coach says.

"wait wait wait. i'm being serious. is it scarlett?"

"yeah, what about it"

landon started laughing once again with that obnoxious laugh.

"go taitan! you were first to fuck her and now you're claiming her! at least let the rest of us have a try before you do"

i grabbed landon by the collar.

"scarlett isn't some chick that gets passed around. i wouldn't talk like that about her again if i were you"

"jeez. alright"

"josh, let him go" coach says.

landon scoffed and walked away. why did i just do that? i mean she's my friend, of course i would. she's been kind to me when it came to missing my scarlett and she didn't pity me like everyone else.

"what was that?" taitan asked.

"scarlett is my friend"

tate smiled and nodded before leaving.

scarlett was going on a date with taitan? since when did he go on meaningless dates? or maybe it's not meaningless? why didn't he drop her after they had sex? was it not just a one night stand? did they actually have feelings for each other?

"do i look okay?"

"i think you look pretty" nic says as i grin.

"yes scarlett, you look gorgeous!"

"actually i think i'm gonna try on the outfit i wore earlier again"

"scarlett, he's gonna be here any minute!" my mom face palmed.

i quickly ran up stairs and changed once again, which was when i heard the doorbell ring.

before i could go down and i answer it, i heard my brother's voice.

"who are you?"

"hey little man, i'm taitan, i'm here for your sister. you must be nicholas"

"that's me, you can call me nic though"

i peeked over and watched taitan bend down and shake my brothers hand. god he was so cute.

"you're taitan! so nice to meet you!"

that was my cue to go down before my mom said anything embarrassing. i honestly wasn't expecting him to come to the door and everything.
