part 8 • my lips are sealed

"holy fucking shit, that was a lot" safiya says.

"i know right damn! go josh!" scout cheered.

"i feel terrible for taitan though, not unless you end up getting with him"

"i don't know, it's stressful" i said, pulling into the parking lot of the soccer field.

it was the third game, and this was my first time cheerleading with the team.

safiya picked up scout and i and drove us to the game and on the way there, i explained everything.

"you look so hot in the uniform" sarah says

"as you do"

the game was going and everything was great. josh scored the first goal of the game in the first quarter, taitan scoring in the second. as the girls and i were doing our half time routine, i could just feel josh's eyes burning through me. we made eye contact and smiled at each other.

there was a minute left on the timer and the game was even 2-2. josh had the ball and was dancing around with it to waste time, eventually scoring on the last second. after he scored, he turned and pointed at me. idiot.

"sarah, i can't believe he just did that to you!" scout says running up to the cheerleaders and i.

"it was really for me? for a second i thought it was for someone else but i knew that didn't seem right. maybe he finally wants me back"

"you owe me one" scout whispered in my ear.

we all run up to the boys to celebrate with them, i saw josh coming towards me but he got intercepted by sarah, who jumped on him.

"i can't believe you scored the final, winning goal for me!"

"actually-"

"legit, how romantic was that?" i interrupted.

i went over to taitan and handed him his water bottle, then placing a kiss on his cheek.

"you killed it out there"

"eh i could've done better"

"oh shut it"

unexpectedly, taitan leaned down and kissed me. i didn't know what to do except pray that josh wasn't looking.

"can i go back to yours with you?" i asked.

"of course"

i really needed to talk to him. i was with josh everyday after school this whole week. all i can say is that i'm surprised i was able to stand up on both legs right now. i really like him but at the same time i just feel so guilty for taitan. he knows that josh and i were friends in my past which is why he understands why we now spend so much time at each other's houses, he just doesn't know what we do.

"so, we haven't been alone in a while" taitan says as we went inside his room.

he slid off his shirt and i watched the droplets of sweat run down his back.

"yeah i've just been busy remembering stuff you know"

"i understand. i'm gonna shower real quick"

"want me to join you?"

"oh?"

i make him sit down on the bed. i slowly undid my ponytail and slid off my cheer uniform. first the top and then the skirt. i then turned and sat on taitan's lap. he unclipped my bra for me, then started to kiss down my jaw and neck. he slid down my underwear and smirked.

"let me do something for you, scar. it'll show you how much i missed you this week"

"so no shower?"

"the shower can come later"
