The night before the wedding, Neoma was standing in the moonflower garden staring up at the moon that shined brightly above her. When a gentle wind picked up, a moonflower from the mystical garden landed on top of her head. At that moment, Neoma looked up at the moon holding the white glowing flower in her hand, "To sacrifice your life for love, what a beautiful thing." Neoma sat down in the garden, "Mother, I love her but what can I do, she chose the same path as the person you love chose. Will the curse ever end?" The princess of the forest soon fell asleep, the moonflowers lying around her.
——— There was a faint smell of marigold flowers as Luna walked outside of the small cottage she lived in that stood right outside the dark forest trees. The morning breeze blew across Luna's long hair as she was watering the flowers in the small garden of hers. The marigold flowers that stood below the tall sunflowers were bright orange, reminding her of Krya.
"You are up already?" A delicate voice coming from the inside of the cottage made Luna turn around, seeing Krya looking out of the small window, "Come inside, morning tea is ready."
As Luna and Krya sat side by side, a piece of a sunflower peddle blew inside the cottage from the open window, falling into Krya's herbal hot tea.
"Princess, I have many worries" Luna said as she stared at the green peddle that lied in the princess's hot tea, "If we are broken apart, what will I do? Will I spend eternity alone? Will we ever be reunited?"
"I will join you in death. We will spend eternity together" Princess Krya kissed her forehead, "Luna, you are my moon."
"And you are my sun."——
Neoma opened her eyes, the moon still shining above her as the flowers surrounded her below. As she made her way back home, she held a moonflower in her hand. 'That is why my mother is now the moon, for you told her that you would be there with her, spending eternity together.' Neoma thought this as she got ready to ride her horse back to the Sun Kingdom, the day of the wedding.
Grandma Elf and Ravavaris were seated in the dining room table, drinking morning tea as Neoma walked in, wearing a silver jewel long cape with her dark midnight blue silk gown.
"Neoma! Come sit across from me, Grandma made tea" Ravavaris smiled as he stood up to pour Neoma a cup of hot tea, Neoma stood in front of the wooden table that stood across from the kitchen where Galanodel was.
"A lovely gown my dear, I see you braided your hair as well. Ravavaris, would you mind letting me talk to Neoma in private?" Grandma Galanodel asked him as she walked up towards Neoma. A sigh was let out from the elf lad as he walked out of the forest castle, "Are you attending the wedding this afternoon?"
"If you are going to tell me that it is in my best interest to not attend, you shall be waisting your time."
"A sun flower, for good luck" Grandma Galanodel held out a small sunflower and placed it in Neoma's braided hair.
Back at the castle, Sol stood in front of the tall glass mirror as she wore her white wedding ballgown with her hair flowing straight down. Her servant by the name of Mary was standing next to her, silently watching Sol as she stared at her reflection with an expressionless face.
"Princess, you do not have to go through with this wedding. I do not know what happened when you were on your journey, but you do not seem happy with the decision you have made." Mary timidity said.
"It is incumbent for a princess to marry a king in order to become queen and rule the kingdom." Princess Sol looked over at Mary, "Even if I spend an eternity unhappy." Sol walked out to the courtyard in the back of the castle, where the wedding would be taking place this afternoon. The courtyard was surrounded by bricks, just over the bricks laid the cliff, where the water laid just below. A cool breeze blew Sol's hair into her face as she stared down below the cliff, watching the waves crash.
