"...missing," said Flumpty.

The doorless house only had a colorful patch of grass on the hill where it stood. Someone had taken him.

He ventured out in the city. He went to the club, all wrecked, where he used bodies from their to make the Eyesaur, and went to the cemetery, where all the chaos began.

The real turning part was joining Grunkfuss. What a bad mistake. True friends don't live with each other for a day only.

But then there was a color path. It led to the forest and it was Empty. He was sitting near the dead body of the Beaver.

"Did you find him?" Flumpty asked.

"No, because he's-"

"missing," the both said.

Where could the boy be?

He had an idea, and it was to send The Owl on a search mission, but that would be impossible as the Owl only worked for Grunkfuss.

Grunkfuss was threatening, but not to mention manipulative. He could force anyone close to him to do his deeds, and if he wanted someone else to do it, he could easily force them the be friends, even though they really weren't.

"Well, I'l go look for him," said Flumpty. "Wanna join?"

"Um, well I cant go back to the hide and seek spot," said Empty. "Also, Grunkfuss will kill you if you brought the kid back."

"I already did so much damage," Empty said. His eyes began to water. "I'm sorry, Flumpty."

Flumpty knew it wasn't his fault. It was Grunkfuss'.

"It's ok," said Flumpty. "We will run away from Grunkfuss. I don't want to be with that guy ever again. Understood?"

Empty nodded. "I'll just stay here..."

Flumpty had walked off and started again. He couldn't have walked off too far. The sun was setting, so they had to be somewhere inside and warm right now.

He began to walk in the main street of the city, all ruined by Eyesaur. He almost heard a bird screech as if it was like an owl. But it wasn't, as owls didnt go out during the day. There was some scatters here and there, but he didn't think that would be Blam. He walked in an alley, but then...

A few footsteps were heard behind him.

"Miss us?" the two said.

"Miss us?" the two said
