Abby pov
Pete, mommy, and daddy's car was full of luggage. Ameisha and Amelia's course at college was finally finished so now they are free. My mother ordered 20 suitcase and around 20 boxes, and can you believe everyone of them is occupied.
Pete car had Rayan, Meisha and Melia. And the rest of the space was taken up by boxes. Me and Mussy was in mom's car and the same goes with the boxes. Dad drove alone with the suitcases and left over boxes. The drive to the air port in Montego Bay was a long boring one.
It took around two hours to get there. Once we reached we unload the cars and marked our luggage. It was an a eleven o'clock flight and now it's 10:40am.
They are now calling for our flight and we tell Pete goodbye and hugged him. This will be my first time on a plane.
The flight attendant leads us to our seat and I got the window seat because Amanda is afraid of heights. "5 minutes until take off." The pilot says. I put the neck pillow on and so did Manda. "You want to watch a movie?" I asked her and seh nods.
She's been a little silent today. I hand her the head phones and put on Sing 2 since we have yet to watch it. Three minutes in the movie the plane started to take off and me and Amanda holds hands and close our eyes.
Couple seconds later the shaking stops and were smooth so we went back to watching the cartoon. An hour later the cartoon was finished. "Which one now?" I asked. "Right now I want to sleep, I cannot believe this is an 8 hour flight." She complains.
Soon enough she fell asleep and I put some song on and drift in to wonderland. I waked up only to know we still have five more hours left. I slept long but Amanda was still sleeping. I put my finger under her nose to see if she's alive and she was. I asked the flight attendant for some snacks.
Two minutes later I'm eating some Lays and a box juice. After I was finished eating, I put on a random movie until I fell asleep again. I waked up again and looked to where my sister was and she's gone, must have gone to the bathroom.
I looked on my timer, only two more hours left. Manda came back a couple minutes later with some home made food that mother cooked. "You hungry?" She asked while sitting down. "Yea." I answered and she gave me a plate.
In it was rice and brown stew chicken, as I smelled the food my belly started to growled. I take up the spoon and dig in. Once I finished eating everything I finished drinking my box juice. Now that were full we continue watching movies and talk to pass time.
"Please put on your seat belts as we land in the city of New york." The pilot says. We buckle up and sure enough, we were now landing at the airport in New York. We unload the plane and get clearance or whatever they was doing.
Not too long after we were walking towards a man that had Mrs. Blackwood on a big paper. "That's us." Mother said. "Could I have your full name please?" The man asked. "It's Dean Thomas - Blackwood." Mom said. And the man told us to follow him, he leads us to a van and a black car beside it.
"Please step in the car while my associate pack your luggages in this van." The American said. We did as was told while another white man unpack our suitcase and boxes of the trolly we got to push them on. The man then put the trolly aside which I assume someone will take up later.
The van man then went into his van and drove off as we in the car followed. I don't even know how long we've been driving because I fell asleep on Melia's shoulder. "Abby wake up." Melia said while shaking her shoulder.
I get up and look out the window and there was I big ass house. "A this we go stay in a?" I asked them. "Yes." Mom said. This is an mini mansion, I know we had money but I never knew we were rich. We got out the car and the van man and Dad take off our luggage and put them at the front door.
I looked over to where the others were and all the houses looked the same. Across the road was the same. It was now evening going on night, and most of them had their lights on. Mommy opened the door and we walked in, the house was beautiful, the walls were painted blue, the living room was the first thing you see when you entered the house and looked so comfy.
"Anyone hungry? Good thing I cooked." Mommy said taking out two huge plates out of a bag. We pulled in our things and locked the front doors with every lock on it and did the same with the back one.
What? Were Jamaican. We sit down in the dining room and mom dished out the food on the plates she found in a cabinet, she washed them of course. After we were finished we went ahead and picked our rooms, once we did, we put our luggage in our new rooms and called it a night.
I texted Shay that I've touched down and I put my phone down and take my teddy out of one of the suitcase, don't ask how I fit it, I just did. The bed felt comfortable but so unfamiliar, anyways I covered my self including my teddy all the way to our necks and cuddled together.
"Form now on, I'm going to call you Multi." I said to my bear. "No that sounds stupid, but when you look at it, it's kind of not." I continued to talk to my bear.
"What about Blue, or pink. No I would have to name you a boy color since your my new boyfriend. Should I name you Gray?" I said and chuckled at that.
"How could I call a bear as beautiful as you Gray, how about Clash? Or Mix?" I said while yawning. "Ok tomorrow we'll find a name. Goodnight Tedz." I said drifting off to sleep.
