Abby pov
Not gonna lie, Monday came about real quick. It's 5:35am, mommy waked me early as any school morning, I'm now in the shower washing my hair. Soon as I'm finished doing my business I started to choose my clothes. "What the heck am I going to wear?" I asked my self, going to a school with out uniform is so stressing.
In the end, I chose a rose gold sweat suit and my white jordans. After I put on my clothes, I did a bun at the back of my head and let some hair hang out at the sides and did some edges. I give my self a look over and take up my bag and went down stairs.
Mom was in the kitchen preparing breakfast while dad was at the island drinking tea. "Seems I'm the first one down." I mumbled to my self. "Good morning." I greeted my parents. "Morning love." Mom said, and dad nods. As I sat down mother served me a plate of Sunday-Monday, meaning the same food that we ate last night for dinner.
To me, I think Sunday-Monday taste better than when it is just cooked. I ate my rice and peas with my fried chicken then drink my cup of milk tea. Soon enough, the others came down, Manda was wearing a high waist pants and a pullover, with some black converse. The others were in regular clothes since they're not going to school.
When my sister was finished eating we left and head to our new school. About an hour and a half we were parked in the parking lot looking at all the new and different faces. "Well this is it girls, a new chapter of our lives. Don't shut people out who genuinely wants to talk to you. And please, for the love of god, act decent." Mom said as she opened the door and we followed suit.
It was so loud here, 7:30 was way too early for all this movements and talking. Mom lead us to to an office which I assumed was hers. "Hello. I'm the new principal, Mrs. Blackwood." Mom said to a woman who was seated in front of a desk.
"Oh yes, please right this way." She said. "How rude of me, my name is Carmen Brown." She introduced her self. She opened a door that marked principal and we entered. "These are my daughters Abigail and Amanda." Mom said and we waved indicating who is who.
"It nice to meet you, I can see your twins. Well Mrs. Blackwood, please feel welcome. Our last principal wasn't at all friendly and could care less about the school. I hope your different." Miss Brown said. "Thank you very much, and I assure you that I'm nothing like that." Mom said.
"Good to know. Well ladies, come with me so I can assign you with your schedule." Carmen told us and we followed her out to the front desk. She looked for awhile then hand us the paper with our names on it. "Thank you. It was nice to meet you." I said as we left the office.
"So in all we have nine class except on Friday. A wah diss school tek man fah." I said. "You a talk bout dat, she give mi a map and if I tell you seh mi understand it a lie mi a tell." Manda said. I took the map from her.
"The principal office deh right yah suh, and our homeroom is 226, so it's this way." I told her. Our class was upstairs and by time we got there, the bell rang. Everyone was looking at us as we opened the door.
"A wah? First uno a see somebody?" Amanda asked and everyone looked confused so I translate. "Sorry, what my sister meant is what are you all looking at? Is it your first time seeing someone?" I asked and some looked away while some looked at us bad.
We found two empty seats and sit down. Couple minutes later the teacher walked in. "Good morning students." He said and we greeted him back. He sits at his seat. "Seems we have new faces, could you please stand and introduce your self please?" The man asked.
My sister and I stood up. "My name is Amanda Blackwood." "And my name is Abigail Blackwood." We said and sit back down. "Is that an accent I pick up? Where are you from? If you don't mind me asking." The man said. "Were Jamaican's strange sir." I said. "Oh right, I'm Mr. Campbell." The teacher said. Mr. Campbell started marking the register.
"Abigail?" "Here." I said. "Alissa?" "Here." A quiet voice said from behind me. She had on a black tam on her curly red hair, her big blue eyes were under her glasses. Her lips looked like it had on some chap stikes. She had on a black T-shirt and a black pants with a black converse."Amanda?" "Here?" My sister said.
"Athena?" "Yup." A pale girl said. You could say she's your typical goth girl. Black lipstick, a lip piercing, a nose piercing, thick black eyeliner, bright blue eyes, lashes, black hair with a sweep to the left, and all black clothing. She looks creepy not gonna lie.
"Bianca?" "Here." A white girl with long blonde hair answers. She was in a cheerleading outfit and sports shoes. I couldn't see her face because I'm behind her.
"Bethany?" "Yes." A tanned girl answers. You can tell by her formal dressing that she's a rich, fake tanned, white girl who walks around with I white dog in her purse or bag. Her blonde hair was obviously bleached and had extension in there. She was beautiful, and looked very kind. But looks can be deceiving.
"Chloe?" "Here." A black girl with long wavy hair answers. She was in a black and red dress and some black boots. She was beside me so I got a good look at her face, she had brown eyes with some thick lashes on. Her nose was pierced and she had on lip gloss on her plump lips. She was actually beautiful.
"Emma?" "Here." A white girl with black shoulder length hair answers. She was in the same outfit as Bianca so I'm guessing they're friends. I'm also behind her so I couldn't see her face.
Sir continue to mark and I totally spaced out. But one name in particular caught my attention, and it's the name that I was going to give my teddy, Gray. I looked over to where he was seated and I didn't even notice someone sitting in the dark corner beside the book shelf.
