Chapter 10

POV Melanie
I wake up with my eyes still closed hoping I'm in a dream.

I open my eyes and see myself laying in bed. I am disappointed it didn't work. I'm pretty sure I'll dream the next day. I get out of bed and open the door. I go step by step to the bathroom.

After I finished dressing up I packed my stuff and went to the park. I chose to sit on a grass field with pretty trees and flowers everywhere. I love summer.

Everything looks so vivid I don't even know why I wanted to go to the park so bad .

I was sitting on the ground and grabbed a book from my bag. When I saw a little bit further from me something shining I followed the glow and saw a white shiny stone. It was like there was glitter poured on the stone. I benched over to pick it up but when I stood normal again I saw a redhead with a crown made of flowers and leafs she had something on her back.

Wings?

"Open your eyes now," she told me with a demanding voice.

"What do you mean, I woke up 2 hours ago," I said confused.

"This isn't what it looks like, you got the stone, open your eyes, or else this all will turn into a nightmare!" She told me as fast as she can.

"I'm sorry who are you?" I asked.

"You'll get to know me later I am Gaia, the fairy of the- oh no. Melanie wake up this isn't going to end well," from far away we heard a shotgun behind my back, I turned around to see what happened but nothing was wrong. When I wanted to ask her more questions that irritated me she disappeared.

"I am awake what is she talking about?" I asked myself.

I looked at the stone and put it in my bag. Weird,
"I should go buy groceries," I told myself suddenly.

The store opens at 10 am, but I didn't check the time when I woke up so I was looking for my phone but I forgot it at home.

I went to a stranger that was also in the park to ask them. She was an old woman reading the news paper on a bench . She looks mid in her 80's.

"Excuse me, do you know how late it is?" I asked.

"Oh don't worry about the time dear it's 11 am," she said with a huge smile.

The smile looked forced but then I realise something.

"I would like to see the time myself," I told her with fierce

Her smile turned into the angriest face I saw.

She picks up her phone and calls someone.

"System 31 is here" she hangs up the phone and I told her:

"You can't do anything it is MY dream I tell you what to do, I am the one who controls all of you," I said bossily

"Oh dear , but do you know that we also can control the dream?" she told me with a smile

I wanted to start an argument when I realized that two men dressed completely black coming in my direction.

The only thing I could think of at that moment was running away. I kept running, when I get to a house I knocked on it but the door was open I went in and closed the door.

"Wake up, wake up, wake," I told myself closing my eyes.

But then I saw Blade in the door opening the room.

"Blade," I said relieved "you have to make me up I need to wake up this is a dream I have to wake up," I begged

" I Know this is a dream, vampires can come into people's dreams," he said calmly
