POV Jayden
This is it, I look at the doorknob and place my hand on it. I am rethinking my whole life but then I remember who cares would it matter in 5 years?
Well, maybe it will,
Sometimes you just have to do things you're afraid to do. How can I see the sunset without reaching the top of the mountain?
I'm not always 19 so let's just do it.
I keep giving myself the same goddamn speech and eventually, I open the door, and a big smile forms on my face.
Chloe sees me and throws a volleyball at me. She's been training alone for her next season.
It hits my face and she dies laughing.
"you little-" I pick up the volleyball again when I try hitting her with it she doges
"You suck!" She yells
"We'll see about that!" I fire back. a few waterdrops fall on my face.
It' starting to rain. in the middle of summer.
Fun.
Chloe looks up and she says "It's raining!"
"Yeah I realised that too" I say and the rain is starting to get wild. I take a glimpse of her but look away fast.
But we both don't want to get inside. I keep looking at her and she looks at me gigling letting the rain hit us.
my hands have never been this cold. Her cheeks are red from the cold like they always do and I place my hands on them. She looks up at me with her eyes if they keep looking at me like that i have no idea what would happen.
The rain is getting louder making us have to raise our voices.
The tension between us keeps getting worse but we both like it. We both like it. I can feel it.
She wants me and I want her too. She places her hands on mine and shows a little smile.
I grab all my strength and courage and I come closer to her face.
She gets on her tiptoes and our lips are an inch from each other.
We try to stay focused but our warm breaths are warming each other up.
Her head goes to the side and so does mine but the other side.
Our cold lips finally connect like a key in a doorframe and we start kissing passionately.
We don't break apart we want to have this feeling forever,
always, and forever
Yet when I tried slipping my tongue in her mouth we broke apart.
She looks at me confused and tries to make a sound.
"I-" She starts, I look at the ground "Sorry didn't mean for that to happen," I tell her but at this point, I honestly just wish she would kiss me even harder than the first time but she doesn't.
