POV Jayden

Aurora hasn't been here for a day and they already love her. She is quite cute though.

I am not going to lie, I always wanted children and I still do.

I am going to be a caring father. The one who goes to their sport.

Screams like crazy when they win.

I am going to be everything my father couldn't, wouldn't do.

watching Chloe take care of her is the best thing my eyes could experience.

I wanted to give my virginity to my first and last love.

I have no idea why I was so stupid to think that. I am nineteen and still never did it. Which means my first time will be fucking horrible.

My thoughts were cut off by Chloe calling me so I walk to the bathroom.

"What?" I asked looking around. Chloe is combing aurora's hair.

"brush your teeth it's time to sleep," She responds
.
I groan "Why are you acting like you're my mother?"

"Because you always forget to brush your teeth"

One time .

Okay maybe twice.

I pick up my toothbrush.

Chloe is braiding the little girl her hair into two braids.

I smile at the result. My heart aches seeing all of this happen .

She hugs Chloe "Thank you,"
Chloe smiles while stroking lily's hair

"you're welcome, go hop in bed it's 10 pm already" She kisses Blade his sister on her forehead and the little girl goes to the room Chloe following her.

I finish brushed my teeth and go to my room.
I put on grey sweats and my grey hoodie in silence the only sound being my breathing and my clothes .
I liked this silence it makes me think .

I get in the room waiting for Chloe .

Melanie is being protective over her room she doesn't even want Chloe to share it with and Gaia, and Blade share a bed.

Chloe sleeps on the bed and I sleep next to her on the ground.

She opens the door quietly and says "I love this moment of the day "

I push my lips together and wait for her to continue but she doesn't .

"Won't you get it warm with that hoodie?" She asked

"No, I get cold easily at night,"

"Alright," She responds.

It is raining pretty hard which is calming.
That's what i keep telling myself.

People love this kind of weather at night it is calming.

I exhale and try to fall asleep.

I flicked my eyes open when I hear the door open.
Aurora sneaks in trying to go to Chloe.

"Aurora ?" I said it like a question.

I try to balance by putting my hands at the back leaning .

"I have a nightmare," She explains trying not to cry.
I pull my blanket away, "Come here," I tell her.

She lays beside me and I use my blanket to keep her warm. She hides her face in my chest.

She looks up and asks "Can you tell me a story?"
