POV CHLOE

we used Jayden his broken-ass car. I don't know why he didn't want to take mine honestly he has some kind of weird relationship with that car.

I still don't have my driver's license, I just drive around our town no one needs to know.

Jayden was going to drive and I sat next to him.

the whole ride would be amazing if he suddenly didn't have to urge to be an interviewer.

"Hey, have you heard of-," he starts

"No, I don't shut up" I cut him.

"what do you wanna do? say nothing for 5 hours?"

"Exactly," I said with a smile and I faced the window again enjoying the sun.

Listening to my Tears Ricochet. God, I devour that song.

"Why do you hate me?" I suddenly hear and I cringe. I take one airpod out as I make a face.

"Jayden ew," I answered not looking at him.

He scoffs as he replies "I've done nothing wrong to you," he announces looking at me instead of the road.

"you're just annoying,"

"Is it because of Melanie? is that why?" he asked.

"Yes," I said getting more annoyed "Melanie may forgive and forget but I fucking don't, don't play innocent all around us because I don't trust your stupid ass"

He scoffs again and I put my AirPod back in and add "Keep scoffing"

"Ur a bitch" he mumbled thinking I won't hear him

" And you can't even say it out loud know your place" I spit back

He clears his throat and replies quietly "Alright,"

I smile a little knowing I gagged him and I open my phone to listen to a different album.

Reputation is looking at me like crazy.

"Taylor Swift?" he asks suddenly

"Shut up," I told him holding myself in to not talk about her.

He laughs a little shaking his head while driving. We didn't say anything to each other.

He puts on the radio so loud I can't hear my music. So I turn it off.

" I was listening?" He says annoyed putting it back on. And I turn it off again as I reply "And I am turning it off."

He puts it back on and I roll my eyes "Seriously turn it off" I am about to turn it off and he slaps my hand "No, my car my rules"

Now I'm the person who scoffs and I grab his coke that I bought at a gas station. I open the window and throw it away.

"My money my rules hm? " I say smiling and he just rolls his eyes.

"you are unbelievable," He tells me in complete shock.

I turn the radio off again and drink my Coke.

4 hours passed and we arrived finally.

"We're here," He tells me parking and getting out.

"Finally," I say as I get out.

He grabs me by my wrist.

"Before we go I should tell you to be careful, before my grandpa died he made sure there would be no easy access to the ingredients."

I try to get out of his grip but he's stronger than I thought.

"Fine I get it, let me now go,"

He hesitates but then loses his grip.
