Chapter 14: Isla Del Sol

"You're really not going to like what comes next. I hope you know that." Luka said looking at the other two adults.

"Don't tell me, Air Cheshire has awful in-flight entertainment and horrendous food?" Bayonetta said getting comfortable.

Cereza was sitting on Elize her lap while playing with her stuffed animal while the twins have decided just to sit on the roof in their human form.

"Shame we never found something about our parents and how they managed to escape. Well, at least we manage to get new friends right? I missed being on a journey and fighting bad things as a group", Harley said.

"Yeah, it is. I missed it to"

"Cheshire, look!" They heard Bayonetta say.

"Oh, i'm lookin'" Luka said as he was staring at Bayonetta's boobs, only for him to realise that missiles are on their way.

"Oh fuck me!" Luka said in a defeated sigh.

The helikopter blew up, but they managed to go on a bomb and control it.

"Welcome in my fantasy zone! Get ready!" Bayonetta said as she went to attack the angels that were responsible for all this. Her fellow Witches and Sage followed. 

All of them were have to be careful as they would send lasers their way. Let us say that they weren't easy to avoid at all. Hell, it must be the annoying thing ever.

"Seems like they still haven't learned their lesson. We are going to get on that island wether you like it or not!" Elize said smiling but soon frowning as an Inspired had appeared who threw meteors at them.

Tammin activated Witch Time and threw the meteors back to the Inspired and the others send some Wicked Weaves towards it. Sooner or later the angels has exploded.

Luka congratulated them who was hanging on a bomb or rocket. It's not very clear what those things actually are. From now on the author will reference them as a rocket.

If they don't have enough obstacles already, a Courage had appeared. It looked similar to Fortitudo, but he was more green.

"Oh fuck no! Not that piece of shit! Bastard!" Tammin said sending a Wicked Weave. How many of these is she going to see more!? The angels clearly didn't get the memo that Tammin doesn't like those big angels.

With the help of the others, they managed to defeat the Courage but no, their journey did not end yet. Cause then three Inspired had appeared.

"Oh come on! How much longer is this going to take!? WE JUST WANT TO GET TO THAT ISLAND DAMNIT!" Harley said being annoyed as hell.

The two women looked at each other with a look that said: 'those two talk to much, just ignore them'

After a lot of complaining and defeating a Temperence later, they all finally made it to the island. And yes, this part got shortened cause Author-Chan was to lazy to write it all down.

Bayonetta saw that Jeanne wanted to attack them again, but she attacked first and made sure that she wouldn't get to the kids and Luka.

Bayonetta proceeded to fall down on a tower.

"We gotta go to them! Cereza is with Bayonetta! Knowing what you told us about Jeanne, she isn't a nice person!" Harley said.

They didn't know what the two Witches are talking about as they can't hear them, the only thing that is pretty obvious is that Jeanne is launching more rockets. Is she really planning on destroying this island? And for what reason would that be?

"I gotta tell you all the truth. Me and Jeanne were the ones that locked Bayonetta... No, Cereza up. Cereza lost her will to fight because we found her mother dead but the Vigridians from back then wanted to attack us. Angels were there as well as it was in the middle of the Witch Hunts. Jeanne stabbed Cereza in the heart and locked her away in that red gem. The Eyes of the World aren't stones, they are a power and a Witch and a Sage are inheriting!" Elize said not wanting to keep it a secret anymore.

"So, Bayonetta is Cereza but as an adult? Thought so. I did call her 'Cereza' back in Paradiso" Tammin said being happy that that her theory was right after all.

Luka, who had not the slightest idea what was going and who also wasn't paying attention, has found a car and told the others to jump in it. They didn't had to be told twice, so they did and went to get to Cereza and Bayonetta.

"I'm really beginning to hate missiles. You know, i have no idea what you girls got going on here, but you don't mind if i take this off your hands, do ya?", Luka said having taking away the remote that Jeanne used to launch the rockets.

"Mummy..." Cereza said as she was taking into the car.

"Elize, take care of the little ones okay? I take care of our old friend" Bayonetta said what gave Elize the hint that Bayonetta has gotten her memories back. Well, half of them. Without any questions, the kids and the two adults left again but were hit by a rocket.

Luckily, all of them were fast enough to go out. Elize her clothing did got burned though, what meant she is now completely naked. She quickly realized that and used her hair to make her clothes. They now look like that of Bayonetta's but Elize's clothes are blond. Luka of course was staring, but he covered Cereza's eyes. No child should see a naked body.

"Get to the tower, Cereza is going to be there soon." Elize said kinda forgetting that they still have child Cereza with them, only to find out that she is fell asleep.

"Where was i? Oh yes. After we locked Cereza away, we took turns of who got to watch her from time time as we had to know if she would wake up one day. Unfortunately that happened. Your father. It was my turn that day but i was a little bit to late. Your father died and i couldn't do anything", Elize said as they took the elevator. Luka didn't know what to say about this.

And he didn't really got to say anything as the elevator opened and Bayonetta was standing there.

"What, it's not like you scare the shit out of me the entire time", Luka said. The three others however noticed that Bayonetta looked sad. Elize gave a defeated sigh and knew at that moment, that Jeanne was gone. She looked like she wasn't hurt by this, but she was. She really was. Hell, she could cry at that moment. But they have another enemy to defeat.

"I don't know wether to shoot you, or take you to Vegas for good luck Cheshire", Bayonetta said being relieved that all of them are okay. She knows that Luka can't be killed that easily, just like her friend. She had her doubts about the kids as they are newbies, but it seems that they managed to survive.

Then they all left to their next destination. The top of the Tower. After that Bayonetta had to tease Luka some more of course.
