Chapter 1

When you're hit with the realization that you're no longer wanted by the one you love the most, and that you can't do anything about it, there is only one place to go to.

Where do broken hearts go? Jeon Wonwoo has one very simple answer to that:

To the Bar!

That was the place that popped up on his head the moment he finished crying in the parking lot. After just having his heart broken by the one he thought would cherish it, there doesn't seem to be any other better places to go. Because there is no way he is going back to their apartment. Because it is now just his apartment. Not theirs. Not his and Jun's. Just his.

The place that he had to fight for. As his parents were against it since he was still too young the first time Wonwoo told them he loved Jun so much he already wanted to live with him. But Wonwoo won in the end with the help of Jun.

And he could not bear to go back to the place they've fought for. Not with his situation right now. Knowing that he was the one lost in the end in the battle of love. The place filled with all their beautiful memories now hurts him knowing that there will no longer be new ones made in it.

Everything is still so shocking. His heart is still fragile. And going back up there right now would break it even more.

With all these fresh wounds surrounding it, he's not ready to have more.

So wiping his eyes with a handkerchief, he checked if he had everything he needed. He patted his pocket for his phone, his wallet, and his keys.

After checking everything, he then went to hail a cab. No need to bring his car. He plans on getting wasted tonight so much that driving would kill him. And Wonwoo might be miserable, but he sure isn't suicidal.

A broken heart shouldn't be stronger than your will to live.

After arriving at the bar, Wonwoo directly went to a vacant stool in front of the bartender and ordered a strong shot of whiskey.

The bartender raised his brow at him as if questioning his alcohol tolerance.

Wonwoo raised an eyebrow back at him. The bartender just shrugged and gave him his drink. Wonwoo downed it in one shot. Wanting the strong taste of it to overwhelm him.

He ordered another one wanting more. He wanted to make the effect of the whiskey be the only thing he is feeling. Wanting to feel nothing more. No sadness, no heartbreak. Just whiskey.

He was at his 7th shot when he was starting to feel the effect of the sweet taste of whiskey. But it was still not enough. He's still feeling the heartbreak caused by Jun. Could still feel the sadness inside his heart.

When he asked for another shot, Wonwoo didn't directly drink it this time. He just stared at it. His focus right now was on this single shot of whiskey.

Wonwoo started thinking whether this shot of whiskey will actually help him forget the pain in his heart that doesn't seem to want to disappear. Or will it just make him feel it even more?

Wonwoo groaned and just, once again, downed the whole shot of whiskey. Seems like he's going with his original plan of getting wasted. It's not like there's anything else he can do.

Jun already said Wonwoo can't make him fall in love with him again. And Wonwpp can't believe he actually said that. When the thought of having to make Jun fall for him again never even crossed his mind.

Because whenever Jun was involved, the only thing that comes to mind is about how much Wonwoo loves him, and how much Jun loves him too.

But it turns out he was wrong. 'Cause as it turns out, Jun still loving him can now only happen in his mind.
