Wonwoo was starting to question his sanity. He was starting to think that there might have been something wrong with his brain with all the stupid decisions he's been making for the past two weeks.
First, he made the stupid decision to have a one night stand to forget a breakup. Then, he decided to come back to Mingyu's place even though he already told himself and Mingyu that he'd never see him ever again. And then he actually had sex with the him again! Not to mention how terrible he felt that the next day he just went up and ran away without saying goodbye to him. And now, two weeks later, even though Wonwoo told himself he'd never see Mingyu again, he's coming back to Mingyu's place again!
Like seriously, is Wonwoo okay?
Though to be fair, Wonwoo did just get his heart broken. But is that really a good enough reason for all the dumb things he's done? Maybe. He's not really that well informed when it comes to heartbreak. But he does know from experience that it hurts so damn much. So there's that.
Wonwoo was currently on a taxi on the way to Mingyu's house. And Wonwoo can't help himself but wonder whether going to Mingyu's place is actually worth it. Even though he was very sure of it when he was at the McDonald's, he's not very sure right now. Maybe Wonwoo just decided this, and everything else before this, purely based on impulse?
Where's the patience that he was so proud of before? Why on earth was he rushing this? This wasn't like Wonwoo at all. He was better than this.
It was like the sudden thought of Mingyu was just a sudden force of comfort that Wonwoo immediately wanted more of it. Without even considering what the consequences of his actions will come to. To properly think whether going to him would actually be for better or for worse. Because Wonwoo knows that there are times where there are feelings of comfort that leads to pain in the end.
So is going to Mingyu really worth it?
Then again, for someone like Wonwoo who was already drowning in pain, who was he to question the comfort that Mingyu was giving him?
.
After 10 more minutes, Wonwoo finally arrived at Mingyu's house. His heart was racing from how nervous he was for coming back here. Did he even have the right to come back? After basically running away from Mingyu without even saying goodbye the last time?
Wonwoo thinks that Mingyu might be mad at him because of that. That Mingyu was upset that Wonwoo left him when he didn't even do anything wrong to Wonwoo. Maybe he thinks that Wonwoo was just a spoiled brat that leaves people without even telling them goodbye.
At least Jun had the decency to say goodbye...
Wonwoo then gave himself a smack on the head for thinking of Jun.
He stared at the house in front of him. It was then that he noticed that the beautiful BMW was there as well. Wonwoo smiled at the memory of when Mingyu let him drive his car. Being able to drive one of the dream cars that he's wanted to for such a long time was like a breath of fresh air after being suffocated by broken promises.
That car was the one thing that had made Wonwoo truly happy this past week. And Wonwoo knows it's selfish of him, but he wishes that if ever that Mingyu can forgive him for leaving him without a word, then for just one last time, he'll ask Mingyu if he could drive it just to feel happy once more.
Wonwoo stood up straight, and went towards Mingyu's house. He was now standing in front of Mingyu's front door feeling even more nervous. He knows he doesn't actually have to be nervous. There are countless people who hook-up and just leave and go after the night of fun is done. It doesn't make them any less of a person. Especially when the person you hooked up with was someone you weren't even close with.
