"WHAT?! YOU GUYS STARTED DATING?!?" Hyun-Jung shouts, very surprised. He also gives Jae-Hyun a slight push on the shoulder with a smirk on his face.

"Shut up, you're too loud!" Hae-won scolds him.

Hyun-Jung, Hae-won, Jae-Hyun, and I have been a group of close friends since the first year of high school. They're our closest friends from school and we've always been there for each other. During lunchtime, we always sneak to the school roof-top and eat lunch there.

"I KNEW IT! I KNEW THEY'RE GONNA BECOME A COUPLE EVENTUALLY!" Hyun-Jung continues shouting.

"I knew they would eventually end up dating 2 years ago when we first met," Hae-won says. "You guys are so obvious."

"Are we really?" I look at Jae-Hyun.

"Anyways, keep this a secret for a while alright?" Jae-Hyun says, especially looking at Hyun-Jung. We haven't told anyone else about our relationship yet, not even our parents but they'll know eventually.

"Alright alright," Hyun-Jung replies, knowing that it was aimed directly at him, "but why keep it a secret?"

"I don't want words to spread before I personally tell my company" I said.

"Being an idol trainee is hard..." Hae-won added. "When are you gonna tell your company?" she asked.

"I'm not sure, but probably sometime soon," I said looking at Jae-Hyun. He smiled right back at me.

I've been an idol trainee under the entertainment company BigHit since 2011, when I was only 15. At the moment, there isn't any other girl trainee other than me.

So why did I even join this company? The CEO of the company, Bang Si-Hyuk, is a close friend of my dad's. I'm not sure what exactly happened in the past, but they have a close relationship with each other and have helped each other in business many times in the past.

When I met him for the first time, not to brag but he noticed my beauty that he says "fit the standard perfectly, as if the standard was made based on me" as well as my singing, dancing, rapping, and producing skills. He was determined to scout me into his company and have me train under him.

I've been scouted many times before, from companies such as SM, JYP, and Pledis entertainment, just to name a few. I passed all of their auditions as well but I never ended up joining any of those companies because I hated how strict they were on their trainees. All the diets, practice, and intense training they have to go through really scared me. And I would have to live apart from my family in the company's dorm as well.

So when BigHit entertainment offered me to train under them with my own freedom, I didn't hesitate to accept the offer. I've always wanted to become an idol, it has been my dream since I was a kid. And Jae-Hyun knew that as well. From my memories, he was the first one I told about my dream as a kid. Weirdly enough, I wasn't the type to go around telling my parents when there is something I want. And that included my dream of becoming an idol as well.

In the company, I usually train alone but there's a group of friends I'm close with. They are also the company's trainees and they're currently the line-up for our company's new boy group although none of that has been decided yet. One of those people is Kim Nam-Joon, he was the first trainee I was introduced to in the company. He's a great rapper and producer. I've heard of a few of the songs he produced, and he is really talented.

The second person is Min Yoon-gi. I still remember how shocked I was when I was first introduced to him. Before joining the company, he was a rapper and producer under the name "Gloss". Although he isn't very widely known, I was a huge fan of his.

Third is Jung Ho-seok. The first time I saw him was during one of his dance practices. I was watching him through a small window through the door. I literally frozed as I watched him dance, he is one of the best dancers I've met.

Fourth is Kim Seok-jin. If I wasn't in love with Jae-Hyun, he might've been my first crush. He was so handsome the time we met... and he still is. We get along very well too, I always laugh at whatever dad jokes he pulls at me.

Fifth is Jeon Jung-kook, he is actually my little cousin from my mom's side. He's also part of the reason I joined BigHit. He joined the company because he was a super big fan of Nam-Joon. And he used to constantly tell me to join his company as a trainee as well.

Sixth is Kim Tae-Hyung. We met by bumping into each other at the entrance of our company. I'll be honest, it was because I was on my phone that I bumped into him. He had puppy-like visuals that reminded me of another cousin of mine. When we found out we were the same age, we quickly got along.

Lastly, there's Park Ji-min. He joined the company a little after I did through the audition like everyone else. But during his audition, I happened to be nearby and heard him singing through the door. His unique voice easily caught my attention and when he officially became a trainee at the company, I was the first person to talk to him. We got along effortlessly, as we are also the same age.

Those seven guys are also one of my closest friends and whenever I feel lonely training by myself at the company, they would often come to see me and we would practice together. Honestly, even though I had the freedom I wanted at the company, trainee life is still tough. And it was because of those guys that I can become the person I am today. They're also part of my growth in life.
