Silence. Yoongi's favorite thing besides sleeping.
He doesn't have any clients coming in today. He just came in today to have some peace and quiet.
To be alone.
He thinks about her every day. He doesn't want to. She only used them. She only used him.
But he can't help but miss her stupid face.
And her stupid voice.
And the stupid sweet things she would say.
He misses her. And he's stupid. And she's stupid.
He groans loudly in annoyance as he lays on the couch in his studio, resting his hands on his face.
Stupid.
He hasn't slept for even a second since they left her.
Imagine that. The Prince of Sloth not being able to sleep.
It's been a year.
Yoongi's beginning to think he'll never be able to sleep again.
She broke him. He's more broken than ever because he trusted the Devil's sister.
Stupid.
"Sloth..." Yoongi hears a weak voice say.
He sits up immediately, eyes wide open as he scans the room. And then his eyes land on a crumpled form on the floor.
Icy blonde hair.
No way.
He jumps from the couch and reaches her in a matter of seconds as he gently moves the hair from her face and sees her.
It's Lucy.
Her eyes flutter open and look into his as he pulls her soaking wet body into his lap. "Sloth."
"Lucy?" Yoongi whispers. She looks so different. Her eyes are a ruby red color and she has dark circles under them. "How...?"
"I don't know. One minute I was dying and then suddenly, I'm here. I don't remember anything. How long was I gone?" she asks in a shaky voice, her hands reaching up to cup his face.
"A year. Lucy... I..."
Suddenly, all the anger he held for her disappears. Seeing her here. Alive. It's like he was angry that she died and not angry that she used him.
"Shhh. I don't blame you, love," she frowns as her thumbs rub small circles on his cheeks.
"Why did I miss you so damn much, Lucy?" he asks, staring intently at her as she shivers.
He picks her up from the ground and carries her to the couch, gently placing her down to sit on the cushions.
Yoongi removes his leather jacket and places it around her shoulders to calm the shivering before sitting down next to her.
"I'm sorry we left you. We just... we felt like you just used us," he says, turning to look at her small form shivering under his jacket. "But... we regretted it. We realized the truth. But it was too late. You may be an idiot sometimes, but we were the bigger idiots that day. We're all still mad... but we shouldn't have left you. I'm so sorry..."
Suddenly, she stops shivering and her face turns from a soft look to a completely blank one. A look void of any emotion.
"Apologies, my little pet. I got bored of pretending to give a shit," she laughs coldly as her eyes pierce into his.
"What...?" he says, frowning as he searches her face.
She sighs. "I should take Hoseok's job as an actress. I'm talented. Aren't I talented?"
Her eyes are only saying one thing now: that she's completely crazy.
He stares at her, confusion etched on his face. Suddenly, he's hit with the urge to ask her so many things because he has no idea what she's talking about.
"Since you are my favorite little sheep, I'll tell you a bedtime story. Let me tuck you in," she coos as she stands up and suddenly grabs him by the throat and slams him onto the ground as she straddles his waist.
"L-Lucy... I c-can't breathe..." he chokes out.
She giggles. "That's the point of choking someone, silly boy. Now that you're all comfortable and tucked in, I'll tell you a story."
"Once upon a time, there was a pretty princess. The princess was bored. So the princess sang songs and danced and ate candy and went swimming. What a grand day for the princess."
Yoongi tries to speak again, but she tightens the hold on his throat, effectively cutting his voice off.
"The little blue boy wouldn't dance with me, so I made sure he wouldn't dance with anyone. Jiminie cricket tried to tattle on me. Hungry boy can't feed himself the candy I brought him. Joonie showed me his bicep muscle. My fellow actor and I went swimming. And now here we are, cuddling before bedtime."
His eyes widen. This isn't the Lucy they knew. That Lucy would never hurt them. She'd never hurt him... What did Lucifer do to her?
His head starts to feel light as she moves her other hand to his neck as well and she slowly increases pressure.
"I take your breath away. How romantic," she says softly as she sways her head back and forth as she sings a children's song to herself.
"The clock struck six," she sings.
Yoongi tries to smack her away but her knees are holding his arms down to his sides.
His vision starts to get blurry and his lungs are on fire, desperate for a breath.
Finally, she lets him go and he rolls to his stomach and tries to crawl away as he coughs and splutters.
"It's bedtime, young man," she scolds as she jumps on his back and causes him to fall to the floor again, this time on his stomach.
She leans forward until her lips brush against his ear.
"Go to sleep, go to sleep..." she sings in his ear, her breathing slow and steady as his is harsh and uneven.
"Go to sleep, little Yoongi..."
He suddenly feels her shift her weight off of his back as she sits back up. Now she is just straddling his hips as he continues to lay on the floor on his stomach.
"Go to sleep..." she sings again before he feels a sharp pain in his back.
Yoongi coughs as blood sprays from his mouth onto the floor.
He tries to turn his head and he sees the glint of something metal.
She stabbed him.
She unseats herself from his waist before laying down on her stomach beside him, her eyes level with his, not caring that she's now laying in a pool of his blood.
"Goodnight, sleepyhead."
She pats his head before standing up and disappearing.
He can't move. The pain is blinding.
She stabbed him in the back.
Just like they did to her.
