Namjoon stretches in his bed lazily, muscles sore from today's activities.

"I need a shower," he scrunches his nose as the stench from his body wafts in his face as the sheets shift around him.

"You really do," Lucy chimes from the open doorway to his bedroom.

"You should've popped in ten minutes earlier and you would've walked in on something much more entertaining than this," he wiggles his eyebrows and she just laughs at him.

Namjoon sighs. His moves have never worked on her but she's cute when they're teasing each other like this.

"I've given Taehyung a hug, I called Jimin short and I watched Jin eat french fries off the floor. My day has been plenty interesting and I'm only halfway done checking on my Princes," she smiles fondly. "I'd sit with you but I'm worried about ruining this dress. I've already had one dress ruined today."

"I'll gladly help you ruin this one," he winks and she laughs again.

"Namjoon, you know you can't keep making these comments to me. Not all of the other Princes are very fond of your jokes towards the Queen."

He laughs, trying to hide the fear in his voice. "I-I'm just kidding. They know that... right?"

"I wouldn't ever let those savages hurt you!" Lucy exclaims. "You hurt yourself plenty."

"You know I broke my new pair of sunglasses this morning. Snapped them in half," he says, sighing in frustration as he rests his arms behind his head.

"Why do you need sunglasses in Hell?" she asks, her eyebrow quirked up in amusement.

"To block out my haters."

"Okay, wow. You and Jin have been hanging out too much," she giggles.

"He's one of the only ones who doesn't threaten to disembowel me for my sexual needs," he pouts.

"Oh..." she says, her eyes saddening as she slowly walks over to his side of the bed and places a quick kiss on his forehead. "You're perfect just as you are, clumsiness and excitement included. You know those guys love you, right?"

Namjoon smiles at her. She always knows how to make him feel better.

"Yes, Lucy. Thank you."

"It really doesn't smell good in here," she whispers in horror as she pinches her nose.

"Being the Prince of Lust is a demanding job. The woman's body is the most delicate, beautiful art in my museum and must be thoroughly treasured and appreciated," he smiles.

"You sweet boy. You should be the Prince of Love with that attitude," she coos, ruffling his hair.

"Lucy, do you think I'll ever fall in love?"

She smiles softly before sitting down on the edge of the bed and taking his hand in between her own.

"I'm sure of it. And whoever captures your heart will be the luckiest woman in the world."

He sighs, nodding slowly. "I may be a pervert but I know I'll be really good at loving someone. I can feel it."

"I know it too. You'll know it when you see her," Lucy says, patting his hand.

"Did you know?" he asks, cocking his head to the side.

"Know what?"

"That you loved him."

Lucy bites her lower lip and looks down at their intertwined fingers.

"I've known you boys for hundreds of years now. But when I first saw him, no. I had no idea of how I would eventually grow to care so much for him."

"And now he's your boyfriend," he teases, grinning widely as she blushes.

Wow. The Devil is blushing.

"I don't know what he is. I'm still half convinced that he hates me still," she shrugs shyly.

Namjoon scoffs. "You're an idiot."

"Why is everyone calling me mean names today?" Lucy frowns, standing up and crossing her arms over her chest. "It's like everyone has forgotten that I am the literal Devil."

"Okay please don't set me on fire or something," he says, eyes widening.

Lucy laughs as she sees his expression.

"I'll be your boyfriend if you don't want him to be," he shrugs nonchalantly as he winks at her.

"Persistant little shit, aren't you?" Lucy asks, arching her eyebrow before sighing deeply and holding her face in her hands.

"Namjoon, what should I do?"

He giggles softly. "The Devil is asking me for advice about a boy? You're adorable. But you don't need any advice because everything is falling in place perfectly. Just be patient."

She hums, nodding absentmindedly.

"Lucy, when did you know you loved him?" he asks quietly.

She looks down at her hands as she plays with her fingers. "When I got my soul back and I saw him holding me. I mean, I knew I had feelings for him before then, but that was the moment I fell completely."

He nods, smiling as he's lost in his own thoughts.

Love. The thing he's always yearned for. And he finally feels like he can find it.

He has seven of the best friends in the entire universe, and even though one of them beat him with a frying pan, one sliced his arm up when she had no soul, and one calls him "man whore" when he hits on Lucy...

He couldn't ask for a better family.

"I have to go, cutie. Take a shower or your stench will kill everyone who comes near you," she says before kissing his cheek.

"Feel free to join me," he calls after her as she walks away.

"Man whore," she calls back before sending a wink over her shoulder.

He sighs happily. What a good life.
