Part 11 | You Again

"Good morning Professor!" The first years chirped, smiling up at you happily.

"Morning darlings" you sighed, wandering up to your desk.

"Are you okay?"

"Tired as heck, but other than that, yes."

"Didn't you go to bed last night?"

"Well only after I managed to chase the Weasley twins and their pranks, and then Professor Loki after them" you grumbled, glaring at the smirking God in the corner.

"That was just was bit of fun" he grinned, twirling a quill in his hands. "Annoying you is my favourite past-time."

"Let's get on with the teaching shall we?" A high pitched voice tutted from the back of the room.

"What are you doing here?" You groaned, turning around to see Umbridge sitting in the back corner.

"Just observing" she trilled, giving you a sickly sweet smile.

"Get out of my classroom."

"The ministry put me in charge" she simpered. "Their orders, my rules."

"My knife, your life" you retorted, conjuring a dagger and pointing at her, her pudgy face whitening.

"That's the one I gave you" Loki commented, smirking as you mouthed swear words at him in Asgardian.

"No weapons around the children!" She shrieked, the first years giggling as you advanced towards her, dagger still raised.

"No weapons around the children?" You scoffed, rolling your eyes. "I've taught them all how to throw a knife."

On cue, the little first years all raised their wands and summoned daggers, holding them up proudly as Umbridge's face got paler.

"This is defence against the dark arts, why not teach them what to do when their attacked in the muggle world? They can't exactly pull a wand on a muggle, however we can cover up self defence" you grinned, waving your hand and putting all their daggers back, much to their disappointment.

"Professor Y/n and Professor Loki taught us how we can channel out magic so we can summon small things!" Colin beamed.

"Like Pumkin pasties!" Another called out, followed by laughs from the students.

"Good to see you have your priorities straight Poppy" Loki chuckled, the little girl smiling back proudly.

Over time the students had gotten more comfortable around the God, as had he, and now they were very fun be around.

"I don't agree with your teaching style" Umbridge snapped, standing up abruptly.

Unfortunately for her, this was rather unimpressive as she barely came up to your chin.

"A bit short for someone for someone who tries to intimidate everyone around her" you hummed, looking down at her.

She plowed on, ignoring your comments as Loki snickered.

"Do you even know anything of our history? Of Wizarding history?" She enquired, glaring up at you.

"You do realise I was born before you wizards even began running around?"

"If you know so much, when was the war of 1812?"

You stared at her in disbelief as Loki looked over at you.

"Does she realise what just came out of her mouth?" He mock whispered, raising his eyebrows at the students who giggled.

"When was the war of 1812? I mean how many hints do you need?? The answer is in the name! What did you think 1812 was?? The Fucking address?" You exclaimed, the students gasping.

Loki sighed, flicking his wrist and quickly altering the memories of all the students. "No swearing in front of the children darling." (Yes, this Loki can do that cause why not)

Umbridge huffed in annoyance, picking up her clipboard and storming out in annoyance.

"Thank the Norns she's gone" you huffed, spinning back to the front. "Strutting into my classroom, questioning my teaching methods, pfft."

"Don't listen to her little ones, she's just sour someone actually know what they're doing" Loki commented, smiling as the students laughed.

Hey everyone updates are going to be so irregular for a while, I have two more weeks of exams and assessments, then I have a three-day camp, sorry guys :(

I'll do my best to write, but I'm a bit under the pump at the moment
