Currently you were braiding Ginny's hair, Hermione and the other Gryffindor girls all running around you getting ready.
"Ginerva, I will cut your hair off."
"Sorry!" She giggled as you continued braiding, the girl bouncing up and down with excitement. "I can't believe I get to go!"
"I'm sure you'll have lots of fun" you smiled.
"I wish we could go" the younger girls pouted, watching as you twisted Ginny's hair up elegantly.
"There will be another ball one day, and you will all get to dress up as well" you assured them, the girls oohing as Hermione did a spin in her dress.
"What are you wearing Professor?" Clara asked eagerly as you finished Ginny's hair and began helping Hermione with hers.
