"Beautiful, isn't it?"

The sudden voice didn't bother Halilintar much. He didn't even flinch, just slowly turned around to get a better look of the stranger. Average man, gentle smile, casual but polite attire, and lovely honey-like eyes.

Halilintar could tell. He was an interesting book.

A nice, no, even better, a charming amiable gentleman whom Halilintar found pleasant enough to converse.

His eyes averted back to the the extensive black field sparkled with star dots above them, and he said, bit longer than his original intention.

"Yes, indeed. It's always foggy around here this season so the clear view we are experiencing is only once in a blue moon, I must say."

Lots longer.

"You are one lucky man."

"Oh really?" The young man followed Halilintar's direction and breathed in the cool autumn air. "Don't all people presenting now at this place hold a similar fortune?"

"Not as much as a traveler like you." Again, velvet pupils looked at him, straight in golden orbs.

"Oh..." He didn't seem like surprised. "How do you know?"

"Let's say, I have a special ability of  people like books."

He hummed in amusement. "Well what a coincidence. I'm a writer, Gempa, nice to meet you." And raised a hand.

Halilintar shook it. "Halilintar, my pleasure. A writer... I guess you are not here just for stargazing only. Inspiration seeking trip?"

Being taken back a bit, Gempa couldn't help but giggled. "Oh how many pages of me have you gone through? Yes I am here for an idea. I wonder if you could help me get one? We've been only talking about me, may you be the topic this time?"

"Hmm?" He smiled, for the first time that night. "As a reader, I've read you. As an author, why don't you try telling my story?"

Gempa raised an eyebrow, but he showed agreement as his index finger started tapping on his chin. For a silent minute, he closed his eyes, thinking.

"Like this mesmerising universal vault, you are beautiful." What a compliment. Not the first Halilintar had heard, but the first he had ever appreciated. "All eyes were on you and they all admired your appearance. However, you didn't really enjoy the crowd, their look annoyed you. So you decided to spend the rest of your night outside, here on this balcony, alone and comfortable. That is, until a man came offer you a drink."

"Many misses and misters offered me drinks, what made this one special?"

"Well, he's a lucky guy and he wanted to try that luck."

"Is that so? Did he succeed?"

"I don't know, it's an open ending. Whether it'll be closed happily or not depends on you reader." Slightly tilted his body toward the bar, Gempa smiled expectingly as he invited Halilintar to a deeper conversation, something he understood they both desire.

And Halilintar did not disappoint him.

"Well then, I would a like a happy ending with a gold rush please."
