Sage sits down at an empty table, drawing in a notepad.

Scott and Stiles sat down a few seats away from him.

He ignores them. Sage looks up from his drawing and locks eyes with Danny. His friends had filled the empty spots at the table. "Get up." Jackson says.

"Why do you never ask Danny to get up?" A guy asks.

"Because I don't stare at his girlfriend's coin slot." He says. "But it's okay, you can have my seat."

"What? Where are you going?" Jackson asked.

Danny motioned his head at the empty seat next to Sage. Jackson rolls his eyes. "The new kid? Really?"

Danny shrugs and moves to sit next to Sage, the kid Jackson pushed out of the spot he's currently in takes Danny's old seat. "Hey." Danny smiled.

Sage's head moves up before his eyes do. "Hey."

"What are you drawing?" He asks.

Sage stutters before clearing his throat.

"Les Amants." He says. Danny raised an eyebrow.

"It's um, french, it means the lovers." Sage explains before scoffing. "Magritte is better than me anyways, mine is just a cheap inspired knock-off." He rambles.

Danny looked at him with interest. "I like your accent." He says. Sage felt his face heat up. "Huh?"

"Your accent."

"Oh..french is my first language, my mom just made me learn english." He explains. "Well it's nice."

Sage blinks, his cheeks flush, and he looks back down at his drawing with a smile.

"And I like your drawing, even if it is a cheap knock-off."

"Merci." The werecoyote murmurs.

"Is there a meaning behind it?" Allison asks. Sage snaps his head in her direction, only now realizing that the entire table had turned to listen. "Um.."

"Well there is no answer, it's uh, it's left for the viewer's interpretation. Magritte isn't fond of explaining himself, but, I personally like to think of it as a lesson of falling in love." He says.

Sage realizes that they wanted him to continue speaking.

"It's like you're getting closer and closer to this person, but suddenly, you realize that you can never truly know them. It's this conflict that happens a lot now, you create this image of someone in your mind and it blinds you so you can't actually see them for who they are."

The table was silent until Allison decided to speak.

"That was beautiful, Sage." She said.

He wanted to roll his eyes, but instead, he put on a fake smile. "Thanks."

Sage actually did roll his eyes when Danny brought up a new topic. "So I hear they're saying it's some type of animal attack, yeah?" He says.

"Probably a cougar?"

"I heard mountain lion." Jackson said.

"A cougar is a mountain lion." Sage and Lydia said. Jackson glares at him before looking at his girlfriend. "Isn't it?" Lydia adds. "Who cares?"

"The guy's probably some homeless tweaker who's gonna die anyway."

"Actually I just found out who it is." Stiles says.

Sage tunes out the rest of the conversation until Danny softly hits his shoulder. "Hm?"

"We're having a movie marathon." Danny states. Sage glanced around the table in confusion. "Uh-"
