A noise was heard as Dahlia descended the stairs to stop in front of her two kids.
"Okay, mommy, you look good!" Beck grinned as she held a beer bottle in her hand. Sage scoffs as their mother makes a face.
"Enough, Beckett."
Beck shrugs. "You and Calliope haven't been on a date in forever! Be excited!" She exclaims. Dahlia rolls her eyes as she adjusted her low waisted leather pants by her chunky black studded belt. "I am excited, and it's not a date, we're just going to pick out stuff for our wedding. It's coming up, remember?" The blonde asks.
Sage smiles softly. "Of course we remember, mom. Beck just means you and Lio haven't been, y'know, alone, in a while because of everything going on..that's all." He replies. Dahlia grins slightly as she crosses her arms while walking to the door of Lio's apartment, her leather jacket makes noise as she moves and the black lacy bralette she was wearing as a top goes up slightly, but she pulls it down.
"Alright, I'm done. Sorry, baby, I've been slumped at the hospital lately." Lio says as she walks over to the trio from the kitchen ; she was wearing a white tank top, light blue flare jeans, dark brown boots, a light brown belt with a gold buckle, and a soft mint green flannel that had the sleeves rolled up.
This was a stark contrast from Dahlia's style.
"It's okay, baby, I know they've been giving you people's shifts. Let's just go make sure the cake is good, I've been worried about it." Dahlia replies, looking up at her fiancée. Calliope was five-foot-seven while she was five-foot-five. Lio leans down and pecks Dahlia's lips before grabbing her hand. "Yeah, I know. I've had to deal with all of your anxious rants." She states before laughing softly.
Beckett takes a sip of her beer and then runs a hand through her hair. "You two should get going then, isn't it an appointment?" Sage asks. "Yeah, it is." Dahlia answers. "Dinner's in the oven and it's ready, you two can eat whenever. We'll be back later, okay?" Lio murmurs before dragging Dahlia out the apartment door.
As the two leave, Elvira walks from around the corner. She was covered in dirt and had bird feathers in her hair. Sage looks at her curiously. "What happened to you?" Beckett asks. Elvira huffs, blowing some hair out of her face before looking at her cousins. "Don't worry about it."

Lio and Dahlia were currently sitting in a meeting room at a bakery, waiting for their cake tasting appointment. A woman walks into the room holding a tray with four cake slices, her brown hair bounced as she walked. "Hello, welcome to Dough Re Mi! My name is Blake, you two must be Dahlia and Calliope!" She greeted with a smile, setting the tray on the center of the table.
Dahlia smiles politely once Lio elbowed her side. "Yes, we are." She speaks, clasping her hands together. "It's so nice to meet you, I'm so excited for this!" Lio grins as she talks, eying the tray. Blake sits down on the other side of the table, across from them. "Yes, right. So, this first one right here is Chocolate Raspberry Truffle. It's chocolate cake with a hint of raspberry preserves, filled with dark chocolate ganache, and brushed with chambord liqueur. I believe you requested this one, Dahlia?" Blake looks at the blonde with a hint of interest as she nods. "Yes, but I was wondering if we could change the chambord." The werecoyote says as she watches Calliope pick up a piece before eating it, she then gets another one and holds the fork out to her.
Blake watches as Dahlia eats the piece on the fork Lio was holding out before answering her. "Well, we could see. Do you have any ideas?" She asks. Lio smiles at the look on Dahlia's face. "I don't think we should, Dahl. I like the way this one tastes!" She exclaims. Dahlia looks at her for a moment as she chews, she then nods and licks her lips before looking back to Blake.
