"Forgotten"Ch.28

Authors pov.

As two days already past tomorrow is the eclipse and a lot has happened, when i say happened it also have forgotten in it.

Chaeryeong's pov.

She forgot again, small or big things of the memory that we share after that day that we got here, when she completely turn in to Lucy. She slowly remember her past but also forgot her present, and i was part of that present that she slowly forgotten.

Flash Back:

the next day that they have arrived at the old Hwang's house at the dinning table at 7:00 am, all were eating "Sam could you past the ketchup?" Yeji or Lucy spoke "yeah sure unnie" and gladly Hyunjin give the ketchup to her, but chaeryeong on the other hand look confuse as she watch yeji eating beef stake while putting ketchup on it, as she know yeji doesn't like ketchup at all, yeji look at her and notice her expression and ask "chaeryeong what's wrong? Are you okay?" Chaeryeong just smiled and said she is fine but truly she is not.

As yeji Address her as chaeryeong that is kind of odd to her yeji never call her that, she always call her cherry she know sometimes she call her chaeryeong but not with that kind tone not with a polite kind of way she always call her with sweetness in it or so called love in it. Chaeryeong's face that day was in dismayed as she notice small little thing is different now.

End of Flash Back:

Authors pov.

At night chaeryeong can't sleep, she stand up from her bed and go out side for a fresh air she look at the moon as she knows in a few days it will be full but one thing she is afraid of if that day will come and yeji remember everything would she forget her?, as she knows small little things changed or forgotten.

The next day came chaeryeong didn't sleep at all as she just look at the moon overnight until it completely disappeared at the sky, "Chaeryeong, why are you here early in the morning? Did you even sleep?" Minhyun ask as she saw chaeryeong at the balcony bench staring at no where "nope i can't sleep" chaeryeong smiled but it was full of sadness and tiredness shown in her face.

Minhyun seat beside her and look at the garden below "sad because of yeji?" He ask, chaeryeong did not look at him and just stared at no where "yes" she simply reply "you notice it right the new things she do?" Chaeryeong just slowly nodded " her tone, her smile, her approach changed even her liking and dislikes that i should know confused me now " chaeryeong said "she's like slowly turning in to someone that i don't know" she added but with a tone of frustration and sadness in it.

"Should we tell her or something?" Minhyun suggest but chaeryeong disagree "no just let her be" sadness was visible on the Younger's eyes "why let her be?, do you want her to be someone you don't know?" Minhyun ask with concerns "No, but remember Minhyun if we stop her something may bad happen to her, we can't let her stop the process or else she well be gone, i won't let her be, i won't let jer die" chaeryeong was certain but still sadness was still shown in her eyes.

Flash Back:

At seoul when chaeryeong meet with Dr.Kim alone " Chaeryeong i must tell you the truth now as yeji's life is at stake, As you brought yeji here for the first time, it was her time already, she was about to die that day but as you cried infront of me i can't help it so i helped you on a way that i know, and i didn't tell you the effect of it because it's in my contract that i should not middle with the fate of others, but looking at you that day it reminded me of my own child that i regret not helping because of that contract, now i want to help you as it's my last breath and a pay of my mistake for not helping anyone who needed my help" Dr.Kim that got chaeryeong speechless but still she managed to ask

"So your telling me she's gonna die at the eclipse?" Chaeryeong's Eyes water as she thought of losing yeji "Yes she may but you can prevent it from happening"chaeryeong's was full of determination to know "as you know i put something on the tea that you also drank that day and it was forgotten potion which also have an effect for the person who drank the other one which is the awakening one and that is what i let yeji drink that day, so it's like this the one that you drank have the ability to give life or a wish to the other one but you have to pay the price to it, you will be forgotten by the person who drank the awakening position as she got the wish that you want for her" Dr.Kim got deeper and deeper from the explanation chaeryeong's thought is already set as she want yeji to live.

Chaeryeong's pov.

"Dr.Kim thank you very much for your help, now it's my turn to let your help be successful" while walking home i called The Hwang's as i explain what well happen to yeji if the time comes they agree to help, we then came up with the plan to trigger yeji's memory at once and we decided to go to there old house where all the memories of her past are.

As Dr.Kim explanation was, i should bring back all her memory and let her forget me that way the effect of the potion will work, the awakening potion was the reason why yeji start remembering fragments of her memory in the first place as it also bring the past person back to her body once you drink it but because of the side effect it's risky to do.

You bring the person alive but that person that you are bound with will forget you, the memory that you shared will disappear like nothing happened and it's like you never exist to her at all in her life in the very first place that you ever have meet.

That is my only way to let yeji be alive by lossing me in her memories.
