A Monster To Some But Never To Her

Chapter 1

Tatum's POV:

My brother and I are walking down the street heading towards our favorite store. "So what do you want to eat, AV?"I softly asks as we near the store.

  "Tater tots! And lots and lots of chocolate!" Anti-Venom exclaims excitedly making me chuckle with a grossed out face.

"Let's me guess he wants chocolate and tater tots too," Eddie tells me and I nod with a laugh. Our friends are very weird.

"Weird?! Weird?! You guys like hotdogs and to me they look like dicks. You're gay and you're eating a hotdog. Hahaha!!" He exclaims angrily before laughing at his joke making me roll my eyes with a laugh.

Stupid ass bitch. Eddie holds open the door for me and I walk into Mrs. Chen's store. "Good evening, Mrs. Chen!" Eddie and I say as we pass by her on the way towards the candy isle.

"Hey, guys," she politely says with a small smile. We look through the isles grabbing a few chocolate bars, marshmallows, and of course some tater tots.

I grabbed myself a cup of coffee before we head over to the counter where Mrs. Chen rings up our stuff.

  "And the total is $35.76," she says making Eddie and I look at each other before doing Rock Paper Scissors.

I smirk when my brother curses as he lost. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out his wallet to pay for the stuff.

  "Don't you guys get tired of doing that?" Mrs. Chen questions chuckling as she put the money in the cashier then gives Eddie his change.

  "Not really. We used that method our whole lives. Have a good day, Mrs. Chen," I tell her with a smile grabbing my coffee and Eddie grabs the bag.

  I take a drink of my coffee as we walk out of the store and walk down the street towards the Avengers tower. Tony lets us stay there.

I go into the bag and pull out a chocolate bar then unwrapped it and ate some. "Chocolate! Chocolate! Chocolate!" AV exclaims happily momentarily taking over me and shoved the entire bar in his mouth. Wrapper included. Gross.

He sounds like that fish from SpongeBob in that one episode when they're selling chocolate. "Dude you know if I ate it we both would've enjoyed it," I exclaim once he reverts back into me.

"I got too excited," he replies burping loudly making me shake my head in disgust. I drink the last of my coffee before tossing it into a trashcan that's on the sidewalk.

   "Here. I just got called into work," Eddie spoke up handing over the bag while holding his bag of tater tots and a few chocolate bars in his hand.

  I grab the bag and give him a small finger salute watching Eddie hail a taxi and get in. "Guess it's just me and you, AV," I say as I continue walking towards the Avengers tower.

   As I cross the street someone with a hoodie roughly pushes a box in my hands, "give this to Natasha Romanoff." They take off running down the street pushing people out of the way.

"Hey, wait!" I call out but they disappear. What the hell? I look down at the box confused.

"It's gotta be a bomb! Did you see how fast they ran off!" AV shrieks and takes over my body scaring some people walking by.

He shoots a web at the top of the Avengers balcony and pulls us towards it. "So you think it's a bomb and you take us straight into the tower?!" I exclaim but he ignores me.

We head over to Tony and Bruce who are in the lab doing something. "Bomb! We thinks it's a bomb!" AV exclaims tossing it on a table making Tony and Bruce flinch violently down. Everyone else comes running in with Wanda putting it in a force field of some kind.
