Sana
Believe me when I say that I'm a person who is not fond of cursing. But what the actual fuck?!
This has to be a dream.
This cannot be true. Absolutely not.
I pinch myself really hard. Welp — no I'm definitely not dreaming.
I remember I had gone to bed last night. I was in my bedroom. So where the hell did a school bell ring?
And how
the
hell
did
I
end
up
In a high school classroom?
And the uniform doesn't even match ours?
What is happening right now?
"Looks like you slept quite well."
The voice had me snap back to reality. There was a girl standing in front of me, more like hovering over me. She looked taller than me by a few inches. Her thick dark hair held up by a rubberband in a ponytail with her bangs falling on her face. Her glasses gave her a geeky look along with the strong aura she has. She was neither lean nor thick, but had a strong build.
"Earth to Sana."
"Oh sorry. But who are you."
Her calm facial expressions changed to the "are you serious bro" look.
"Damn Sana, I'm not playing fanfic with you again."
"No seriously, please who are you and where am I?"
I probably shouldn't have came outright about this matter in front of a stranger, but well, it felt like she was the only one I could trust with my secret here. I know nothing about this place, so it would be great if someone, who seems to know me somehow, show me the ropes to hold onto here.
She looked at me dumbfounded before crouching down to my level. She gave me a genuinely concerned look.
"What's wrong? Are you not feeling well?"
" No I feel fine but I am genuinely confused. Please help me out. I remember I was in my room and went to sleep but now when I've woken up I find myself in a classroom and wearing an uniform that's not of my school." I finished all in one breath.
She looked at me for a good few seconds. Probably trying to figure out if I had gone crazy. Then she suddenly got up, took my hand and pulled me out of the classroom.
She dragged me down the hallway until we reached the girl's toilet. She pulled me into one cubicle and bolted it.
"Now spill."
I went on to tell her everything and occassionally answering the questions she asked. She had a cold hard expression on her face.
She looked deep in thought as I finished my story.
"So you're not the Sana I know. You're from a different world. I wouldn't have believed you if you completed our handshake. Because even if the actual Sana was playing a prank on me, she would always give in to the handshake. She could never forget that."
"Can you please keep this a secret? And it would be great if you could help me around here."
"Of course. By the way, I'm Vicky."
Then she told me everything about the this world Sana, educating me about my surroundings. I realised that this Sana was not different from myself. We had the same personality. Maybe that's why we swapped worlds? Maybe.
I learned that this is actually a pretty famous and prestigious boarding school. We then went by the whole day talking about various stuff. Me and Reiji are roommates. She is not very talkative, and didn't particularly show any interest in my life or the world I came from world. After school was over, she showed me the way to our dorm and then took me to the school greenhouse.
"Stay here. I'll be back in a few minutes. Go and look around but don't wander too far away. Okay?"
"Rest assured. I won't go too far away from here." I gave her a reassuring smile.
She didn't return one, just nodded her head and walked off.
The greenhouse was huge. The sun shining clearly through the clear glass, I noticed how clean the glasses were. It feelt as if I was in a humongous bubble. There were various types of plants there, mostly flowering plants. I walked about observing each flower and plant with utmost attention. There were small tags near every plant, stating it's name. Some were familiar. And some I couldn't even pronounce. As I was going about through the large masses of beautiful plants, one particular flower caught my attention. I have never seen something like that. It was a fully blossomed black rose. It looked gorgeous and royal. I checked it's tag. Black Prince. A fitting name for an unearthly beauty. I was so intrigued by the plant that I crouched down to its level and gazed at it intently.
"You like the flower?"
I froze. Such a deep and pleasant voice.
I turned my head towards the direction of the voice.
Oh my god.
Oh My GoD.
OH MY GOD.
