Sana

I fucking hate this guy.

If I have to tell you why, then I would have to recite the whole novel. Let's just skip that. To think he's a sweetheart like Jackson's best buddy. These two are polar opposites.

He stared at me for a good few seconds. Probably judging me and my style.

I want to wreck his face.

"Hey dwarf." He smirked. Fucking dick. Making remarks about the height difference already.

"Hey Alvin." I snapped back.

The tone in my voice didn't go unnoticed by him because he withdrew his smirk from his face as soon as I called him Alvin.

It was my turn to smirk now.

Aaron 0; Sana 1

"Get a hearing aid dwarf, my name's Aaron not Alvin."

"You should too because my name is Sana not dwarf, Alvin"

He clenched his jaw at that.

How you like that?

Wrecking my ship, I will wreck your love life now.

"Guys you just met each other, let's not fight. And Aaron, stop being such an ass."

"Whatever. I'm going to Celia."

Jackson's face visibly darkened at her name. Are they already together? Maybe because I didn't write anymore, this is progressing like the actual story.

I can't let that happen.

I have to break this chain.

I have to unite Celia and Jackson, both for his love for her and also so that I can go back home.

I wonder how things are going there?

"Hey Jackson, who's Celia?"

"Umm she's Aaron's girlfriend."

I kinda felt bad for bringing it up but I needed to confirm it. I think I should let him know that I know about his crush on Celia. Then he can at least let his feelings out in front of me. He won't have to suffer alone.

"You like Celia don't you?"

"What?! No! I mean yes! Of course I like her, she's a great friend!"

This reminded me of Adrien from Miraculous.

"You know I'm not talking about you liking her as a friend Jackson, it shows on your face."

"It does, doesn't it?"

"Yes, and I know it's none of my business, but you look like you're in a lot of pain and as a friend, I wanted to help you out."

He looked at me feebly.

"You don't think it's wrong that I have feelings for my best friend's girlfriend?"

"I can't judge you on that. You can't really choose who you fall for." I gave him a reassuring smile.

He smiled at that.

"Thanks for understanding. I know we've just met, but I'm already grateful to have you around."

"The feelings mutual. Sooo— wanna go and grab something to eat? You did invite me for breakfast."

He gave a hearty laugh. It made my day. Little is better than nothing.

"Lead the way milady." He said, and then proceeded to give a dramatic bow.

We both laughed at that.

We talked and joked throughout breakfast. He told me about him, Celia and Aaron. Nothing that I didn't know of. Except the fact that he is absolutely terrified of spiders. I couldn't find Vicky anywhere. Odd. We came in together, then I asked her to find us a table but while I was talking to Jackson, she had disappered.

This girl was weird personified.

Anyways, after we were done with breakfast, we threw out plates away and Jackson being the gentleman he was, offered to walk to my dorm. On our way back, we talked about how thoughtful it was of the school cafeteria to have biodegradable plates and cutlery. I really liked this feature. Even the plastic bottles were replaced with biodegradable ones.

I loved nature. So these attempts at saving our environment make me feel good in a certain way.

As we neared my dorm, Jackson took my hand in his and stopped me. I turned to him.

"Umm it would be great if you don't mention anything about my crush on Celia to anybody. I mean your best friend too."

"Gosh Jackson, I wouldn't ever do that. It's your secret, I have no right to tell it to anybody. I don't even have any intention of doing so. And don't worry, Vicky is not the nosy type."

"I'm sorry it's just a very serious thing and I don't want to jeopardize my friendship with Aaron. He might be a bit rude, but he is the only true friend I have. You too, so please don't mind anything that I said just now."

"It's fine you don't have to say sorry. I know how terrible it would feel to lose a friend. But you can relax. I'm here now, so you can tell me anything. I'm here for you."

"Thank you. Then see you later?"

" Yeah. Just drop me a text when you reach your dorm. I'll be worried if you don't."

"Haha okay. Bye now."

"Bye."

I watched his retreating back and when he went out of sight, I opened the door to the dorm.

I was half expecting Vicky to be there, but guess what?

She wasn't.

Jackson had texted me a few minutes later, and then we talked some more. Talking with someone drains me, but well, I never felt bored Jackson. Conversation between us flowed so easily. Our talks felt like puzzle pieces fitting together to make a imaginary picture. Hours passed by, but felt like a few minutes. We had so much to tell each other about ourselves. We really felt more like old friends who haven't talked in ages. Lunchtime came soon enough and we met again.

The rest of the day went by me lazing around. Vicky was nowhere to be found. I went to the greenhouse once, and read a whole novel there. I came back in the evening. And when night came, Pygmalion put me to sleep.

If  you're confused about what Pygmalion is, it is a book written by George Bernard Shaw. It's a personal favorite so I put it in here.
