"Plagg, claws in", Adrien angrily demands as he lands inside his bedroom.

"Ouch, Adrien. Don't be so harsh", Plagg states as he lands in Adrien's sock drawer.

Adrien sighs. "I'm sorry, Plagg. I just don't know what to do about Ladybug. I mean, how could she even ask me to do something like that?"

Plagg didn't answer. He was living in his glory of being with socks and his cheese.

"Plagg, I could really use your help with this. What should I do? Am I being too dramatic about this?"

"Let me put it this way. If a piece of cheese, in which I wanted to eat so bad, asked me to not eat it because it would give me a bellyache, I would risk the chance of a bellyache just so I could have the piece of cheese. Understand?"

"So, you're saying that I shouldn't listen to Ladybug?" Adrien scratched his head in confusion, trying to understand Plagg.

"I'm saying that if you were to take the risk, you must also accept the consequences that come along with it."

Adrien sat down. "Wait, what consequences do you think could happen?"

"Well, Ladybug would probably be really mad at you for not even trying to get over her for starters. Or, these feelings of yours could worsen to the point where you can't even focus as a superhero which could result in losing your miraculous. Maybe even with her losing her miraculous, too."

Adrien was silent for a moment as he processed Plagg's surprisingly wise words. "Do you really think that could happen?"

"Mm, probably", Plagg responded with, unfiltered, as he surrounded himself with more camembert.

------------------------------------------

"Ugh, Tikki. You should've seen the look on his face. He looked at me with utter betrayal and hurt", Marinette paced back and forth in her room before finally sitting down. "Do you think that was too much of me to ask?"

"Don't worry, Marinette. I'm sure Chat Noir will come around. You had to ask him. You did it to protect him. Soon, he'll realize that", Tikki reassuringly responded with.

"You're right, Tikki", Marinette smiled. "I just hope he realizes it soon so our next akuma fight won't be so awkward. We fight better together than we do when we're separated."

Tikki and Marinette gasped as the ground underneath them seemed to shake. They glanced at the ground and then back at each other's eyes, both knowing what it was.

"Seriously? Another akuma? It's only been a few hours since the last one", Marinette complained. Alright, then. Tikki, spots-".

Before Marinette could transform, crest from the ceiling landed on the ground all around her. A supervillain appeared through the thick dust, the shape coming closer and closer towards her. She couldn't make out who the supervillain was, but this seemed to be yet another supervillain after her.

"Hello, Marinette. You're coming with me", the supervillain grabbed Marinette's wrist and dragged her out of her room and into the dark streets.

"No, no, no, no! Please, j-just leave me alone", Marinette begged as she desperately searched for Tikki. She couldn't see anything since the day had fallen into the dark night.

------------------------------

Adrien and Plagg were sleeping before they were awaken by the sudden shake of the ground beneath them.

"Plagg, what was that?" Adrien hoarsely asked, rubbing his eyes.

"I don't know, why don't you go check the windows while I keep sleeping?"

Adrien sighed as he got out of bed. As he looked through the window, he saw the destruction of Paris that only an akumatized villain could create. "Plagg, we gotta go."

"Of course, because what else could be going on in Paris besides an akuma attack", Plagg sarcastically commented.

"Come on, Plagg. Marinette could be in danger, again! Plagg, claws out!"

------------------------------

The supervillain took Marinette all the way to the top of the Eiffel Tower and tied her up around the edge.

"Who's going to save you now, Marinette?" The supervillain let out an evil laugh. "Too bad your precious knight in shining armor isn't here to save you."

Marinette shifted to try and wiggle herself out of the rope. But even if she could, she would risk falling off of the Eiffel Tower because of how close to the edge she was.

Chat Noir made it to Marinette's room but when he got there, he already knew he was too late. "Oh, geez, Marinette. Where are you?" he whispered to himself while running his hand through his hair.

He heard a voice coming from the Eiffel Tower and his eyes followed the sound. When he glanced at it, he could barely make out two figures sitting at the very top, and he knew that outfit of hers anywhere.

(Honestly who wouldn't tho? They wear the same damn outfits every single day)

Marinette grunted as she failed once again to wiggle herself free. "What do you want from me?"

The supervillain circled around her slowly, her finger grazing her weapon. "Oh, you know. Revenge."

"Revenge?" Marinette questioned. The supervillain walked away for a little and in that time, Tikki had a plan to free Marinette.

"I'll untie this rope and if you fall, I'll transform you", Tikki planned as she held onto the rope. "Ready, Marinette?"

"Yeah, sure", Marinette responded, preparing for what it's going to be like to fall off of the Eiffel Tower.

The rope released Marinette, causing her to slip off the edge of the Eiffel Tower. But before Tikki could transform her, Marinette felt a pair of arms latch around her in the princess carry hold. She opened her eyes and only saw two electric green eyes staring at her.

(btw the princess carry is basically what the cover of this book is and that's what I imagined this scene to look like too)

He landed softly on the ground and placed Marinette gently in front of him. Once he caught his breath, he joked with her. "We gotta stop meeting like this."

Marinette managed a giggle but she still felt shaky after the feeling of slipping off the edge.

Chat Noir noticed her shakiness and anxiousness and realized he probably should've asked how she was instead of cracking jokes. He slowly walked over to her and took her in an embrace, letting her know everything is okay.

After a little while, he let go. "I'm sorry, Marinette", he began. "I'll take you back to your place."

Once they arrived at Marinette's bakery, they safely landed off of Chat Noir's baton and were set gently on the ground. "Go inside, and please stay safe. I'll meet up with you after I deal with this supervillain, okay?" Chat Noir gestured for her to go inside and waved goodbye before taking back off to the Eiffel Tower.

Marinette ran to the side of the building and made sure no one was around when she transformed.

Hiiii! I was kind of tired while writing this so I'm sorry if it makes no sense or the grammar is bad lol but I still hope you enjoy :)
