"Hey", Chat winked once he slipped inside through the trapdoor. "You ready?"

"For what?" Marinette smiled with curiosity.

"Come on", Chat Noir grabbed her hand and led her outside. "I figured you haven't been shopping since you got that injury, correct?"

Marinette nodded, wondering what he was getting at.

"Welllll, I decided that maybe it's time we should fix that. So, we're going to your favorite stores that you haven't been to in weeks", Chat Noir smiled down at her.

"Chat, you don't have to take me shopping", Marinette laughed. "Plus, you don't seem the type to wanna follow an indecisive person, such as myself, around stores all day."

"Are you kitten?" Chat Noir teased. "Of course I do! I think it would be a lot of fun watching you try to decide on what you should get."

"It doesn't sound like fun for you, though", Marinette glanced up at him. "If we're hanging out like this now, I want to do things we both like."

"How are you not getting it?" Chat Noir laughed. "I told you already. This is what I want to do, I promise."

"Fine", Marinette agreed. "But then you get to choose where we go to eat."

"Sounds purrfect, princess", he winked, wrapping an arm around her. "Shall we go?"

----------------------------------

"I don't know which one to get!" Marinette held up two shirts to Chat Noir as he sat in a seat by the dressing room.

"Get both", he shrugged. "I think you look p-awsome in both."

"But if I get both, it'll be over my spending limit. I have spending limits every week so I can manage how much I save", Marinette explained.

"Who says you were paying?" Chat Noir smiled at her, standing up from his seat and walking toward her, his hands jammed in his pockets.

"Chat, I'm not going to let you pay", Marinette shook her head. "I can't let you. You've done so much for me and I haven't even been able to pay you back for that yet."

"You did", Chat Noir let out a laugh.

"How?" Marinette narrowed her eyes in confusion and cocked her head sideways.

"You let me kiss you", Chat Noir crossed his arms.

"Technicallyyyy, I didn't actually say you could kiss me", Marinette paused, waiting for his reaction of that statement. He smiled, knowing she was joking. "But, I didn't attest against it."

"Come on", Chat Noir nudged her. "You enjoyed it."

"I still don't want you paying for these things. I feel like I owe you every time you do something nice for me", Marinette's smile faded into seriousness.

"You don't have to feel that way around me. I'll do anything for you, you know that. If there's one thing you should know about me, it's that money means absolutely nothing to me. And, like I said, I don't want you to feel like you have to owe me anything. You do enough just by letting me hang out at your place", Chat Noir smiled.

"Okay", Marinette sighed. "But I'll at least pay for one of the shirts."

Chat Noir shook his head. "You're difficult, but fine", he began walking away. "Still paying for everything else, though", Chat said under his breath, barely loud of enough for Marinette to hear.

"I heard that", Marinette crossed her arms.

---------------------------

"That's ridiculous. Nobody besides Alya and I visited you?" Chat Noir leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms. They were at the food court in the mall.
