"Ouch, why are you pulling my hair so much?" Marinette complained. Chat Noir begged her to let him braid her hair. Turns out, he wasn't as good as he thought he was going to be.
"Sorry, I've never done this before", Chat Noir smiled guiltily. "If you'd sit still, it wouldn't hurt as much."
"That's what she said", Marinette laughed, Chat Noir wasn't amused.
"That was so unfunny", he shook his head. "Alright, I'm done. I think it looks pretty good."
Marinette got up to look at her hair in the mirror. "Decent."
"That's it? Decent? Come on, that's a literal masterpiece", Chat Noir went up to her and looked at her hair once more.
"Decent for a cat", Marinette winked.
"I hate you", Chat Noir joked.
Marinette shrugged her shoulders. "Should've thought about that before. Too late now, you're stuck with me."
"Damn it. I knew I should've that about this before dating the weird girl."
"I can't believe I have a cat for a boyfriend", Marinette shook her head.
"Hey, you should feel incredibly lucky", Chat Noir crossed his arms. "Everyone knows how amazing I am."
"Except me, of course", Marinette said sarcastically.
Chat Noir laughed along before pausing. "Hey, I have something for you."
"Really?"
"Mhm", he mumbled before giving her a small box.
Marinette looked back and forth between him and the box. "Chat, what is this?"
"Just open it, you bitch", Chat laughed.
Marinette laughed. "I think you mean 'Princess'."
"I thought you didn't like Princess."
"I used to hate it, but now I love it", Marinette smiled before opening the box. When she opened the box, all she saw was shine coming from the inside. It was a bracelet she was looking at when she was at the mall with him. It was a thin blue nile diamond bracelet that she knew was expensive. She held her breath, feeling guilty that he spent so much on her. "Chat..."
"I saw you looking at it in the mall", Chat explained. "I could tell you wanted it."
"Wait, I can't accept this", Marinette handed the box back to him. "This must've cost a fortune."
Chat smiled. "So what?"
"Why would you spend so much on me?"
Chat laughed and handed the box back to her. "Princess, it's yours. You deserve it and I wanted to get something for you. Besides, money means absolutely nothing to me. But you mean everything to me."
Marinette could've cried. She stared at him for a few seconds, holding back a sob when she wrapped her arms around his neck in embrace. "Thank you, I love it."
He wrapped his arms around her waist and unexpectedly picked her up. Marinette let out a laugh.

Later that night, Marinette took a stroll in the park alone since she realized how long it's been since she's done that. Of course, she didn't tell Chat about it because he'd tell her no and have a whole speech prepared as to why it's dangerous. She knew he was right in a way, but she could take care of herself.
The only lights that surrounded her was the faint street lights and the stars shining above her. The Eiffel Tower was glowing in the distance, beautiful as ever. She sat herself on a bench and enjoyed the moment; silent breeze, starry sky, peaceful moment.
