" can you explain to me what just happened?! " lilah panicked, replaying the tragic moment in her head over and over. " do i look like i know the answer to that harrington? " eddie calmed down but still was in shock of witnessing chrissy die infront of him.

the pair had been driving around, wondering what to do and where to go after the incident, " i've got a boat shed we can hide out at, no one will be able to find us. " eddie says driving down a long road, " what will we do eddie, what if someone saw us with her and blames her death on us!? " lilah says still panicked, tears starting to form in her eyes. eddie attempts to calm her down, placing a hand on her thigh. " we're gonna be fine. you just need to stop carrying on. I'll make sure we're both safe. "

she gives him a small glare and attempts to calm down, "yeah whatever.." they then drive into a long driveway, and lilah spots the boatshed that eddie mentioned.
"what even is this place?" asking eddie, she looks at her surroundings to see if there was anyone around, that could possibly spot them. "it's one of my mates, no one should find us here." she nods, hopping out of the vehicle. "alright let's go harrington. " eddie says hopping out the car and the two of them quickly make their ways towards the shed.

--------- lilah's pov

" this place smells like shit. " eddie sits down and puts his head in his hands, should i ask if hes okay? " eddie? " he looks up at me, " yeah? " i sit next to him, " you're a douchebag and i still hate you, but are you good? " he looks at me with a laugh as i said that. what the fuck is so funny?

" im fine lilah, just freaked out about the whole thing. " i nod and give him a slight smile, reassuring him that it'll be okay. " ya know, you're not so bad to be around. " he looks at me surprised that i had said that. hell, even im surprised i said something that nice to him. " oh yeah? you too harrington. " him saying that, gave me an unexplainable feeling in my stomach, i don't know what it is but it felt strange. i just brushed it off, it isn't anything.. im probably just feeling nauseous.

an hour had passed of us sitting in comfortable silence, just relaxing. eddie ended up falling asleep, that was until i heard voices coming from outside, slowly getting closer. " eddie wake up.. eddie! " i yelled in a whisper, shaking him by the shoulder lightly. " what the fuck do you want harrington? " then he noticed the talking from just outside, getting panicked and standing up in a hurry.

" hide over there. " he told me, as i walked to the corner of the shed, ducking down. he went under the tarp in the small boat, wait.. i know that voice. that's my bestfriend, bronte! and a couple other voices i couldn't quite make out. then i saw her, she was with dustin henderson, max mayfield, and my brother steve. wait... is that robin too?

" eddie it's me! it's just me! that's just steve! he's not gonna hurt you, right steve?.. " dustin said, eddie had my brother pushed against a wall holding something against his neck. should i go out and present myself? yes, yes i should. i walk out of the hiding space i was in and bronte rushes over to me, " lilah! where the hell have you been? " i give her a smile, bronte engulfing me in a massive hug. god i missed her. " i missed you. have you heard about a body being found? " she told me, as if i didn't witness it all happen. but she didn't know about that.

eddie had calmed down, realising nobody was here to harm him.
" actually.. i was there. it's chrissy. " she looked at me with a sad pout on her face and her eyes slightly watering, " so chris is gone?.. " i nodded slowly and gave her a tight hug. " lilah harrington! what are you doing here?! " my brother shouts at me worried. i roll my eyes and push past him, waving to everyone. dustin looks confused at me, " wait steve.. why is your sister here? "

" she was with chrissy when she came to my trailor.. and when i left the two alone, i came back to see chrissy in a strange trance, lilah trying to snap her out of it. " i gave eddie a nod, to get him to continue, he gulped before continuing, " she then started to levitate into the air, we were both in shock just watching her.. then her- um " i smiled at him to let him know he isn't alone in this,
" well.. her bones- they snapped one by one, then her eyes caved in.. "

i nodded, " yeah then we kinda freaked out and decided to... run away. " i explained , they probably think we're fucking crazy. " you think we're nuts right? " eddie says, i walk over to him and sit down. " no, we believe you. " robin reassures us. max nods along with her, smiling at us. " we have bad news and good news. what do you prefer first? " dustin says to us, bad news first, always. it was like eddie read my mind, " bad news first, always. " i look at him, he looked into my eyes, smirking at me.

" stop staring at eachother, it's weird. " steve says, glaring at eddie. i roll my eyes, " anyways, the bad news is we tapped in to the pd and they're looking for eddie, they're 100% certain he killed chrissy. " eddie looked incredibly worried, gulping hard. " and the good news is, the public don't know about you yet. but if we found out about you it's a matter of time before others do too. " dustin explains to him,

" but we have a plan. "
