------- lilah's pov

I SIT AND WONDER ABOUT the previous events that happened earlier between eddie and i, did it mean anything? i don't know, but whatever it was that happened definitely isn't gonna happen again, because he's been ignoring me ever since.

the group left us here once again, alone. apparently nancy and robin are going ' undercover ' to discover some more information involving vecna. whatever.

" so... are we gonna talk about it? " eddie looks over to me with his eyebrows raised, " didn't seem like you wanted to talk to me before, so why now? " he rolls his eyes playfully, shifting closer to me. " lilah... im sorry i ignored you. i didn't know if you liked it and it kinda had me over thinking the whole thing "

he didn't know if i liked it? well, of course i fucking did! otherwise i wouldn't have kissed him back.
" well did you like it? " i asked him, nervous for his answer. he got quite flustered, a soft blush covering his cheeks. " i don't know, did i? " he says in a quiet voice with a smirk on his face.

------- narrators pov

the two teenagers held eye contact with eachother a couple seconds, before lilah broke it to stand up and walk towards the box of cereal they were munching on earlier. " anyway, you want some cereal? " eddie nods, gesturing for lilah to bring it to him. " fuck yes "

lilah sits down, handing it to him.
" hey eddie.. " as he grabs a handful of cereal from the box, he looks at her curiously. " hmm? " lilah moves closer to him, an anxious expression on her face. " did that kiss mean anything to you? " he looked away, once again getting flustered by the sudden question. " im not sure, all i know is i don't regret it. "

smiling at eachother, the tension between lilah and eddie growing stronger by the second. " i don't regret it either. " eddie chuckles, raising his eyebrows at her. " well, do you still hate me? " she smiles at him, " i don't know. " she says in a teasing way

the two were getting tired and eddie come up with an idea, " im tired as shit. i think I'm gonna nap in the boat. " he says, stepping into the small wooden boat and laying down, putting his hands behind his head.
" yeah.. im tired as well, i haven't slept for two days. " lilah sighs slowly. eddie nods, gesturing her to lay down next to him in the boat, " come and lay with me then.

she shrugs her shoulders, walking over to him and quietly stepping into the boat. " how are we both meant to fit in this boat laying down? "
he pulls her down by her hand, " just lie down and shut up. " she rolls her eyes, carefully laying down.. and finds her self extremely close to eddie.

he put his hand on her jaw and turned her head to look at him. both of them continued to hold eye contact for a minute before eddie moved his hand down to her waist, pulling her closer so they were touching. " do you know what you do to me lilah? " he whispers in her ear, making her breath hitch.

he then places a kiss on her fore head, lilah slightly drifting off to sleep at the comfort of his warm breath on her neck. eddie then finds himself studying her face, looking at all her freckles, her long eyelashes and focusing on her small plump lips.

he slowly closes his eyes and falls asleep with her small body in his arms...

hey y'all. sorry i haven't updated for a little while, ive been busy with school and i was having major writers block lol. also i was having problems with publishing, it kept saying " an error occurred " ??
