OPHELIA DARLING COULDN'T HELP but feel sad. Of course, she was happy the Baudelaires finally got their happy ending with their parents but she couldn't stop the sadness that was creeping on her. She was feeling joyful for the Baudelaires but it was blanketed on top with sadness.

Her blue eyes looked at the Baudelaires with a sad smile on her face as her mother who stood behind her, mirrored her smile yet her smile wasn't sad.

Violet moved forward to hug the blonde Darling, tightly wrapping her arms around her. Ophelia returned the same energy, holding the eldest Baudelaire, as her heart felt like it was lifted into the clouds.

Ophelia hugged Klaus and Sunny as well, as they reassured her they would visit from time to time.

"Visit?" Bertrand asked, holding back a smile. "We won't come to visit children."

"What do you mean?" asked Violet in confusion, as her heart sank.

"Why visit them, when they are coming with us?"

Ophelia knitted her eyebrows as she shared looks with the Baudelaire children. Her heart started to race as she saw her mom smile at her.

"You didn't think we would die in this village did you?" Diana asked in amusement as she grabbed her luggage and bags. Ophelia's smile brightened. All of the adults laughed heartily.

Two cars were parked next to the adults and stopped. They began to put in their luggage, and made small talking, laughing occasionally.

The Baudelaire children didn't have much luggage and only carried about three bags for them, as they didn't have much after all. The Baudelaire parents didn't have much either.

Ophelia turned around to see her house one last time. The familiar white walls and brown roof that stored so many memories in them, and suddenly felt a lump growing in her throat.

She had always thought she would have liked to escape the vile village the first town she got to, but now staring at her house, felt rather strange. As she blinked she gave a sad look at the house one last time before getting in the car.

The car doors were slammed shut with her mother, Ophelia, Violet and Beatrice sitting in one car claiming they needed girl time much to the annoyance of Bertrand. When he pointed out that Sunny was still in the car, Beatrice zoomed the car away, giggling at their husband's grumbling face.

They began the long drive to where Ophelia didn't know.

The land looked like it stretched for miles as they passed green fields, with hundreds of different coloured flowers in them. Then they came across dryer patches of land that had only dirt and rocks, and they had to pull the windows close so the dust won't make it in the car.
