"SO YOU mean to tell us that the man with no hair but a beard and the woman with hair but no beard are in this very establishment?" questioned Quigley and Silas rapidly nodded his head.

"Is she talking about us? Our fortune?" questioned Violet tensely.

"I think she is, I think she plans on turning us into orphans tonight to get our fortune," Silas said seriously, glancing at everyone.

Dread filled Ophelia's bones, as a chill surrounded her. Now that Count Olaf was finally out of their lives, why did another problem have to appear? Couldn't the Baudelaires get a moment of peace? But no, bad things seemed to happen and seemed to be written in their fates, in the stars.

"But. . ." stammered Angelina, appearing flustered. "I mean. . .what should we do?" she questioned tensely as she bit her nails with anxiety.

"We need to tell the adults," replied Silas. "Do we have anything to contact them with? A walkie-talkie?"

"I don't know, did they even leave us anything?" asked Eugene, as he walked around the room, with his hands interlocked in front of him.

"Maybe we could send them a message through the crow?" asked Ophelia, her mind racing. "Like how Isadora did."

"Usually birds choose to migrate to warmer areas, and return only when the cold has faded away," replied Silas, running a hand through his jet-black hair.

"I think we need to find them somehow," stressed Angelina, throwing her red hair into a bun as a determined look passed her features. Sofia put a hand on the redhead's shoulder in reassurance.

"Or you know, we can trap them," said Katherine, with a gleam in her eyes. "And when they return, we can surprise them."

"Doing so won't be easy," replied Katerina, "we will have better luck if we manage to find them."

"And if we get caught, who knows what those nefarious adults will do," added Sofia.

"We have to try," said Katerina stubbornly.

"Then how about we split," suggested Angelina. "One group can go to find the others and one can stay to try to trap them!"

"See? This one provides a solution," said Katherine, throwing an annoyed look at her twin.

"Since there are ten of us here, let's divide it into five," suggested Eugene and they nodded.

"I'll go with Katherine," announced Sofia, moving to stand next to her. Katerina rolled her eyes and followed her twin, Silas moved towards them with a grin, and Eugene quietly groaned but followed.

"I think I'll go with the treasure hunt group, because I don't really know if Sunny counts," Sunny let out a babble in disapproval.

Klaus was silent watching the whole ordeal with his wide brown eyes. Without a word, he grabbed a purple scarf on a rack and gestured for the others to follow him. Violet immediately grabbed Sunny and followed her little brother, Angelina gave Sunny a wide smile.
