Chapter 6

Strawberry's pov

As i'm on my way to the great elf tree,
i see Holly on my way, walking in the same direction.

She is a bit far from me and i'm pretty sure she hasn't noticed me yet.

Soon she reaches the great elf tree and is knocking on the door.

She is waiting for someone to answer the door, while i approach her.

"Hey Holly."

"Oh, hi Strawberry."

"What are you doing here, Holly."

"Oh nothing, i just came here to meet Ben, how about you."

"Oh, i'm also here to meet,"
I paused for a second, i was about to say Ben, but i don't want to tell her that i came here to meet him.
"Barnaby elf." I answered.

"Okay, cool." She says.

After a few seconds of awkwardness the door opened.

The Wise old elf was the one that got out.

"Yes, girls what do you want?"

"Hey, The Wise old elf we came here to meet," I try to answer him.

"To meet Ben." Holly finished the sentence, i could notice the glow on her face, as soon as she said his name.

"Oh, okay, well i'll call Ben right now for you, Ben, Ben, Ben!" he shouts.

"Coming." i hear from afar and i'm assuming, that both of them heard that to.

A while later we see Ben coming and along with him, Barnaby.

"Hey, Strawberry," he says in a casual way. "Hey, Holly." he says her name in a very happy way as if his day got a whole lot better after just seeing her.

At this moment, i realized how jealous i am of Holly, how can someone have everything in life.

First of all, she is the princess, she has power, pretty much everyone likes her and on top of that, it seems like
my crush likes her the most.

I have started liking Ben for a while, but it feels like Holly will snatch him away from me.

I can't let that happen.

Why can't Ben, be just as happy after seeing me?

I get so happy every time i see him.

"Hey, Barnaby what are you doing here with Ben?" I ask him.

"Oh, Ben and i were just hanging out, why?"

"Uh, no reason, i was just curious."

"Ben, do you want to go for a walk." Holly asked.

"Can we come too?" Barnaby and i asked at the same time.

"Oh uh," Holly hesitated.

After a bit of thinking they both said "Yes."

As we were walking around the little kingdom, we could see that Ben and Holly were staying side by side, it was as if they wanted to walk together forever.

It was infuriating to watch.

I wanted him to walk by my side, but i guess he wants to walk with Holly instead.

As, i look at my side, i can see
Barnaby elf walking right next to me.

Suddenly He whispers in my ear.
"Jealous?"

I nod. "No."

But he somehow knows that i'm not saying the truth.

"Oh, come on," he whispers again in my ear.

This time, i nod again but as in a
"Yes."

"I knew it." he whispered.

I could feel him getting excited for some reason.

I looked up at him and tried to understand why he got so excited.

I was so confused at that moment.

"Why are you so excited all of a sudden?" I asked him.

"It's just," he pauses for a minute.

"Yes, tell me, i'm waiting." I tried to guess what he was about to say, but couldn't figure out what he was going to say next.

After a bit of thinking he finally opened his mouth.

"It's because, if you try to get with Ben, i can try to get with Holly." he answered.

I look up at him for a moment, i don't know what to say?

"So, you mean to tell me, if i got with Ben, it will be easier for you to get with Holly, do you have a crush on her?" I questioned him.

"Yes." He whispered.

I look back up at him, then i look up at Ben and Holly, that are now a bit far from us and i can see that their hands are touching.

That sight of them triggered
something in me and at that moment i made up a plan.
