I appreciate whoever is going to be reading this story, and normally, I'm not one for the inclusion of author's notes, but I feel there are a few things I should mention before diving deeper into the story.
As I mentioned in the summary, I will often reference songs throughout the story. I am saying this now so that there is no need for this in any other chapter: I do not own any of the songs mentioned. The music belongs to the rightful owners, my character only sings them for storyline purposes.
Further, any time that my character sings a song, I will include a link or video so that you all, as readers, can hear what the character is singing. I hope you enjoy such a feature, and I hope you enjoy this story.
In case you haven't noticed, I am largely influenced by music as an individual, and the character that I have created has a similar connection, so music does play a large role in this particular story. If I use unfamiliar terms (modulation, half/whole step, sharp, flat, etc.), I will do my best to describe them in the most simple way possible.
