As part of their reward for saving the island, Mr. Fedler allowed for every mage of Fairy Tail to stay one night and two days in the grand resort hotel of the island. So, of course, as soon as the job was completed with success, they sent the news to Fairy Tail. Gray and Mellodi waited for their arrival to the island as they enjoyed their own stay, but finally, the time to tell everyone what had happened arrived.

Erza was the first to force her way through the hotel lobby and burst through the hotel's pool doors and on-sight beach. The rest of the guild -- the ones that were interested in coming -- followed behind her, causing who-knows-what kind of damage in the lobby.

Beside the pool, sitting on sun-bathing chairs, Mellodi and Gray were waiting for the expected visitors, though they seemed preoccupied at the moment. The girl threw a pool towel at him with a vein bursting from her forehead angrily. "Why the hell do you find the need to be naked!" She shouted.

He winced from the surprisingly hard impact. "I told you, it's a bad habit." He explained as he searched for his swimming shorts.

"Go find your pants!" She yelled.

But he merely whined. "I'm trying..."

"Put on the towel, or whatever, and search for them!"

He sat upright, feeling sluggish as he mumbled, "You should just get naked, too."

The comment earned another towel launched at his head.

"Ow! Okay, okay! I get it."

Before approaching Mellodi, Lucy and Wendy watched the scene with suspicious eyes as the blonde whispered to the shorter girl, "They seem to have gotten really close."

Wendy agreed, and the two girls approached their fuming friend, who's face immediately softened upon seeing them. "Lucy! Wendy!" She called excitedly.

"How was your first job?" Lucy asked with just as much joy as the three hugged each other.

Mellodi released an uncomfortable laugh upon remembering the happenings of the job. "It wasn't... that interesting..." A bead of sweat slid down her forehead.

"Okay, different topic." The blonde said and took a step closer to her musician friend. She wiggled her shoulders suggestively, causing Mellodi to raise a confused brow. "You and Gray seem to be getting along pretty well..."

Beside them, Wendy muttered, "Like we didn't see that from a mile away."

"Huh?!" The magenta-haired girl's face immediately reddened. "O-oh, nothing happened, really..."

"We weren't suggesting that anything happened. We just observed that you two were rather close."

Before Mellodi could respond, Gray returned, wearing swimming shorts. "I found them!" He declared, and the girl dropped her shoulders hopelessly.

"You're an idiot." She mumbled under her breath.

"You're so mean." He pouted.

They looked each other in the eye with bitter frowns. But that exchange merely lasted a few seconds, as soon, they burst into laughter. Mellodi then reverted her attention back to Lucy and Wendy, who eyed she and Gray suspiciously.

Picking up on the strange expressions, the boy wondered aloud, "Hey, why are they looking at us like that?"

"They just think we've gotten pretty close." Mellodi explained and shyly tucked a curl behind her ear.

Gray dried his tousled dark hair with a towel and tossed it aside. "Well, duh." He seemed as though there was no big deal with the situation.

He casual placed an arm around her shoulder. Startled, she looked at him with flushed cheeks, and he captured her chin with his free hand. He simply brought her face closer to his and planted a kiss on her lips.

Her face became as vibrant as her hair as she wasn't able to meet anyone's eyes, especially Gray's. A series of 'Ooh's' erupted from Lucy and Wendy, as well as a few of the other Fairy Tail members that were paying attention.

Erza restrained a violent Juvia as a number of mages surrounded Mellodi and Gray, asking to witness their kiss one more time, as some were in disbelief, especially Natsu.

Mellodi still shyly averted her eyes, but Gray placed a hand on her cheek and tugged for her to turn to him. She was slightly startled, but immediately soothed when he kissed her again.

This time, she ran a hand through his tousled locks and sunk more into it, although her cheeks remained red.

Although they witnessed the two kiss twice, some still were in disbelief, but decided to drop the topic.

With Lucy and Wendy taking upon the task of restraining Juvia, Erza stood before Gray and Mellodi with pride as she boldly stated: "Just remember, no guys are allowed in the girls' dorms."

Both of their cheeks became flushed with severe embarrassment as they squealed in unison,

"E-eh?!"
