You're Being Paranoid

Hopper groaned as he entered the police station, he grabbed a mug and filled it with coffee ' Little brat didn't come home last night. She didn't even leave a note. She usually leaves a note when she doesn't sleep at home ." he thought, as his was walking to his office Flo quickly got up and tried to get to him ' Crap Flo didn't even had my coffee yet.' he thought ready to shut himself in his office as the woman called him, Flo was fast, before he managed to close the door she had grabbed the handle " Hopper it is something serious." she said and the man groaned " Look I just woke up, I know what I have to do just let me drink a sip." he said and the woman gave him a stern look " I think your own child is more important than coffee." she scolded him and the man turned his back at her " What did she do again?" he groaned. Flo's answer made him drop his cup and in seconds he was in his car turning on the engine and speeding off to the hospital.

He entered the room that your were in out of breath and let out a sight of relief finding you awake " Hey dad." you grumbled raising your hand a bit, the man took a better look at you, your forehead and leg were bandaged up and a few scratches littered your arms and face " That's why. That's exactly the reason why I always tell you to wear the fucking helmet." he said pointing at the injury on your head and you gestured at your leg " So tell me what happened." he said taking a seat next to you " I was returning from Steve's-" " Did you drink?" he asked and you shook your head " You did. Did you smoke?" he asked and you shook your head again " You did that too. How many times do I have to tell you to not get high before driving? Especially at night?" he asked and you sighted " As I was driving back home something hit me and then tried to drag me into the forest." you said " What was it? What kind of animal was it?" he asked " That's the thing-" just then the nurse walked in " Hello. How are you feeling?" she asked and your father got up " Do your thing I will be outside." he said leaving you with the nurse.

Steve looked at the parking looking for " Betty" but didn't see the motorbike anywhere, he went behind the bleachers and you were not there, he checked the library, in the end he decided to give up for now. He spotted Nancy at her locker and put a smile on his face " Hey." he said and the girl even though a bit startled greeted him, Steve noticed that something was wrong with her " Is everything ok?" he asked and she nodded " Yea. Yea totally." she replied placing her bag on her shoulder " I just. I just feel like....everyone is staring at me." she confessed " Oh, I didn't tell anyone." said Steve looking as some students passed hoping to see you " I know. I know. But what about Tommy and Carol?" she asked and Steve shook his head a little smirk appearing on his face " You're being paranoid." he said and she apologized " No no. It's cute. " and after a few seconds of silence he spoke again " I had a good time." he said and Nancy nodded " Yea, me too." she said and they shared a small kiss before heading to class, but Steve's mind wasn't focused on their sweet moment, instead he was thinking about where you were.

You were free to return home " Your bike is getting fixed but there is no way in hell you're ridding anytime soon. I'm gonna drop you off home and get back to work." said Hopped and you nodded staring out of the window, carefully inspecting the woods, you focused on a particular spot where it seemed like a silhouette was crouching " Hey!" yelled Hopper and you jumped " Don't doze off like that, thought you got some brain damage. I informed your school, Heather offered to come by and drop the homework." he said and you nodded " Cool." you said your gaze moving to the spot but found it empty.

Hopper left you alone in the house, you sat on your bed, your mind going to the horrendous creature that had attacked you, taking out your sketchbook form your drawer you started drawing " The fuck even is that?" you mumbled throwing the sketchbook on your nightstand. A small photo slipped from the mess of comicbooks, schoolbooks and random papers, you smiled picking it up. It was you a lot younger than now with a boy the same age as you, the two of you smiled at the camera while pulling each other in a side hug , the boy was holding a surfing board on his other hand while you showed a seashell bracelet. You took at out a pin and placed the photo on your wall, your eyes went to the bracelet on your hand ' Wonder how he's doing.' you thought laying on your bed and closing your eyes.

You suddenly jolt up as you felt shivers run down your spine, you looked around in panic at he unknown place, well not completely unknown, it was your room but at the same time it wasn't. There was hardly any light, everything seemed like it have been abandoned, dust, moss and some sort of weird vines covered everything. You closed your eyes and when you opened them again you found that everything was back to normal, you got up and search for a cigarette, with shaky hands you light it up and took a strong inhale " I need to calm down, a bath. A bath will help." you mumbled pushing yourself up.

" Did you guys see Barb when you were leaving?" asked Nancy as she sat at the cafeteria with Steve and his friends " Who?" asked Tommy " Barbara. She's not here today." said Nancy as Tommy ate " I seriously have no idea who you're talking about." he said while he and Carol laughed " Come on, don't be an ass, man." said Steve kicking his leg a bit " Did you see her leave or not?" he asked " No, she was gone when we left." said Tommy " Probably couldn't stand listening to all that moaning. Oh STeve! OH STEVE!" she moaned loudly as a few heads turned towards their table. Tommy suddenly stopped laughing " Talking about missing people. Where the hell is Chief?" he asked and Steve shrugged trying to act like he didn't care " Did you fight that bad, that she didn't even want to come to school?" he asked laughing as Nancy bid them goodbye.

The group was standing near Steve's car when Nicole approached them " Hey can I talk to you for a second?" she asked Steve and the male nodded " Sure. Is something wrong?" he asked and the ginger nodded " Yea. I was at the dark room and there was also that feak Byers there." she said and Tommy smirked " What he made a move on ya?" he asked wiggling his eyebrows " Ew no. But he did something else, he had taken a bunch of photos of ( Y/n), like a shit ton of photos and he also...had photos of you girlfriend and you....and the others as well. I think he was stalking you. He seriously stalks ( Y/n) , just wanted to let you know." she said and Steve felt his blood boiling " You sure?" he asked and she noddded " Tommy come with me for a sec. Nicole do you mind coming as well?" he asked as he went to Jonathan's car.
