" Coming!" called Eddie hearing someone knock his door " I SAID COMING!" he yelled leaving what he was doing " SAID COMING DAM-" he stopped seeing you smiling at him " Hey." you said and the boy smiled " Hey. This is a surprise." he said with an awkward chuckle " Sorry for coming uninvited. I just wanted to give you your clothes back." you said shaking the bag " It's alright just emmm....just give me a minute." he said rushing back in, you heard him let out a few curses. Eddie opened the door again " Now you can come in." he said motioning you to come inside " Thanks." he said taking the bag from you and  looking inside while you sat down " Wait these are...New?" he said taking out the jacket and inspecting it " My dad did the laundry and messed them up so I go you new ones. Well similar ones." you said hopping he would buy the lie ' Can't exactly tell him that they are torn and covered in blood.' you thought as he shrugged " This?" he asked pulling out a small box " A small gift. For the holidays." you said and the boy smiled from ear to ear " It's nothing fancy it's just a guitar strap. I just thought it'll  suit you." you said suddenly feeling shy " It's  perfect sweetheart. " he said looking at it.

He cleared his throat " I have something for you as well." he said going to his room " Do you remember when I tried to teach you the guitar while laying on the bed and the strings broke?" he yelled from his room " And I almost lost an eye?! Yea I remember!" you yelled back and he chuckled " To remember that wonderful memory I made this." he said opening his palm and presenting you a bracelet " Nothing fancy but I've noticed you have a liking towards poorly made jewellery." he said eyes going to the seashell bracelet " I have a liking to anything made by people I care about." you said and he laughed " Sounds like you. Now if you'll  allow me." he said taking your hand and wrapping the bracelet around it " Perfect." he said placing a kiss on it, you blushed a bit and took your hand back " So my uncle is working late, I have some leftover pizza and I just happened to rent a new movie yesterday. Care to join me?" he asked and you smiled " Can't say no to.that leftover pizza." you joked.

The younger girl inspected herself in the mirror " So?" you asked her and she raised her hand up to silence, after a moment of silence she gave you a satisfied nod " Looks good." she said and you collapsed on your back " Thank goodness. " you huffed " Alright now that this is over can I show her my new comics?" asked Lucas and his younger sister shook her head " Firstly she's supposed to babysit me and second nobody cares about your lame comics." she said and the boy frowned " Erica." you scolded her " I'll  come to see them later. We got to finish her holiday homework." you said and the boy nodded turning to leave " Don't you have holiday homework?" asked Erica and the boy froze. You slowly turned to look at him " Lu-" before you could say his name the boy started running " LUCAS! GET YOUR BUM O-and he just slammed his door." you huffed and went to sit back down.

" Maybe I should have you help me with my homework." you said seeing the girls answers and she smiled proudly " Lucas come on we got to get your work over with." you said knocking on the boys door " Maybe I can help you with it!" called Erica and laughed " I'll  do it later." said Lucas from the other side of the door " There are only two days of brake left and tomorrow you have a campaign with the boys." you said but the boy didn't reply " This calls for drastic measures." you said to Erica who nodded " Then I guess I'll  have to tell your parents and you'll  have to do it with them." you said and the boy opened the door " Fine. I'll  do it." he grumbled and you ruffled his hair.

The Sinclair couple entered just when you finished reviewing Lucas's answers " Where you doing your holiday homework?" asked Miss Sinclair and the kids nodded " Aight go wash your hands while I heat up dinner. ( Y/n) will you join us?" she asked and you shook your head " I would love to but I sadly have work." you said and the woman smiled " Thank you for looking after them." she said handing you your money " Try to rest a bit, you look....exhausted." she said and you let out a nervous chuckle " I emmm have been having a hard time sleeping." you said " I can give you my Ma's recipe she had a great remedy for insomnia." said Mister Sinclair and you and his wife made a face " Maybe another time." said his wife as she escorted you out " Drive safely and make sure to get a good rest." she said and you thanked her.
