Boiling Point

You stopped in front of Heather's house and head straight for the door, you were about to knock but El took your hand and used her powers to open the door, you sneakily walked threw the hallway seeing the photos of the picture perfect family. Hearing laughter you followed it, the soft sound of music lead you to the dinning hall of the familly where you found Heather's parents laughing at something Billy had said " He's so funny." laughed Heather's mother.

Just as you entered Billy turned his head to your direction " Max. ( Y/n)." he announced, you quickly wiped your frown " Apologies for barging in. It's just that Billy and Heather were supposed to have a shift at the pool before the rain started, the manager got worried when noone picked up the phone in either house and asked me to come and check on them." you said and Tom nodded " Sure, but who are those kids dripping all over my carpet?" asked the man. Billy chuckled swallowing the bite that he had placed in his mouth " Janet, Tom. This is my sister Maxine." he said getting up. 

He walked up to you placing a hand over your shoulder " ( Y/n) is my girlfriend but what are you doing here?" he asked the red haired girl " ( Y/n) just didn't see you at work and we wanted to make sure everything was ok." she said " Ok? Why wouldn't be ok?" he asked and you tried to slightly push him off you only for him to tighten his grip " Is Heather here?" you asked him and he chuckled " Of course, I mean it is her house." he said.

Just like clockwork Heather entered the room with a tray in her hands " Heather! This is my sister Maxine." he said and then turned to El, eyes darkening, " And I'm sorry but I did not catch your name." he said looking at El " You already know her J-" " El." said the girl staring him down " El." he repeated " You see, Heather wasn't feeling so hot today, so we thought to take the day off and nurse her back to health. But you're feeling just fine now, don't you Heather?" he said letting go of you and folding his hands infront of him  and the girl nodded " I feel so much better now.Do you girls want a cookie? They are fresh out the oven." she offered.

You shook your head " It's alright. We best head back home, the storm is picking up." you said pushing the girls towards the door, you flinched when Billy grabbed your arm " You can stay if you want. I'm sure Jane and Tom won't mind since you're a friend of Heather's." he said and you did your best to not flinch under the pressure he was putting on your arm " That's a great idea." said the girl and you shook your head " Ah yes do join us." said Heather's mother " I'm sorry, the storm is picking up and I can't let the kids roam around in such a bad weather. Maybe another time." you said ripping your arm off the male's grip.

After dropping Max to her house you headed to Eddie's, the boy opened the door, music echoing from his room " He- What happened?" he asked seeing you drenched from head to toe, a tired expression on your face. You wrapped your arms around him " Ok listen, how about we take a bath and just sleep whatever this is off? Or you can talk about it?" he offer " The bath sounds nice." you mumbled and he nodded closing the door.

Eddie sat with you in the bathtub, rubbing your back as the hot water hit your skin " You have been acting a little off. Did you and Billy fight?" he asked and you shook your head, brushing your hair aside he froze " WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?" he asked poking the bruise on your arm " Did he do that? Did Billy-" " No! No, that wasn't...Billy." you mumbled. The metal head decided to not push it any further and closed the water " Come on sweetheart. Let's go get some shut eye. " he said. You put on a pair of the shorts you haf left there and one of Billy's shirts  " Thanks Eddie." you mumbled holding him close, even though you could  hardly fit in the bed it felt strangely empty.

You were woken up not by an alarm but by the kids yelling at you from the Walkie, Eddie cursed and grabbed it  " Listen here you little shut stains it's summer vacation, sleep in go jump in the pool but for fucks shake leave us al-" " What is it Mike?" you grumbled taking the device from the male's hand  " Chief! We're at the pool, it's a code red hurry." he said before shutting down.
