The next day, (Y/N) was given the address of the hotel that L was supposedly located at. She was definitely skeptical, but she didn't think of any reason as to why he would need to lie to her. Other than the fact that he suspects me. Even then, he can't lie to me about his location. He wants to keep an eye on me, doesn't he?

A small note was delivered to her anonymously to her dorm. She picked it up off the floor and read the address, rereading it multiple times until she memorized it and could recite it perfectly if need be. 'The Nohga Hotel, room 096. Make sure you arrive alone, and nobody knows that you are arriving. Arrive by 3:45.'

After her eyes skimmed the paper multiple times, she took her lighter and burned the paper in the sink and ran water over the flames when the paper turned into a fizzle. Grabbing her heavy coat, she headed out her dorm and started towards the main campus gates. She didn't take any public transport, mainly because she knew where the hotel was, but also because she didn't want someone to start something and waste her time. She was on the clock.

Her feet carried her smoothly through the city, her big bright eyes looking at all the sights she passed. She never really took the time to appreciate the beauty of Japan until now. Her breath could be seen in the cold still air as she walked about.

She finally found the lavish building of the hotel and headed inside. Her shoulders trembled from the sudden temperature change as she secured the jacket that was covering her up. The inside of the hotel lobby was simple yet fancy, dark oak trimmings blending in nicely with the red and yellow carpets. People were coming in and out, giving (Y/N) strange glances as they passed her for no particular reason. She ignored the dirty looks and strolled up to the man at the main counter. He looked up at her, and his eyebrows instantly furrowed. "How can I help you?"

Glancing at the counter, she grabbed a nearby notepad with a pen attached to it and wrote down: 'I need to get to room 096 please.' She held up the note so he could read it, and he gave her a skeptical expression as he typed something on this computer briefly. "Third floor, fifth door to your right." He said, completely emotionless. She nodded and headed up one of the two staircases and up to one of the elevators.

Once she was on the third floor, she turned to her right and walked down five doors. There, she found room 096. For some reason, an invisible force was stopping her from knocking on that door. Something was telling her not to even touch the door, and to walk away and pretend nothing happened.

Fighting against that force, she raised her balled fist and knocked gently on the door. Almost instantly, the doorknob clicked and an old man greeted her with a smile, his silver mustache stretching with his lips. "Greetings, Miss (Y/N)." She didn't return the smile, instead shaking his hand. He was aware of her silence and rather uptightness so he shook her hand back with warmth. "You can let her in now, Watari."

A raspy voice she recognized instantly spoke from behind the door. Watari turned his head in response as he slowly opened the door all the way to let her in. Her eyes glazed over all the other members, who had all turned their heads to face her as she walked in stiltedly. She quickly started analyzing each unique member and memorizing each of their appearances. Her expression lit up when she saw Soichiro with Light, both of whom were smiling at her warmly.

She quickly went up to Soichiro and hugged him, having not seen him in a long, long time. "Hi (Y/N)." He chuckled. To keep it even, she gave Light a hug too, even though they see each other every day.

Across the room, L was watching her greet her family from afar, looking like a creeper. She gave him a quick and unsettled glance before she turned and faced the other members. Light shook his head in realization and went up beside (Y/N). "Right. I need to introduce you to the others."
