We arrived to the kitchen that had a door inside another door. By the way the kind of have freaked me out just a tad. We headed out the door and entered what was called our 'Back Yard'
There was so much land, most of it was woods which made it even more exciting. I could run in those woods for hours, with no worry of being attack. This was our land, and I couldn't enjoy it even more. This is such an amazing home, perfect for our new family.
We do have a basement, so Logan says. I'm not aloud down there until its finished Logan clearly stated. Walking past the basement door drove me insane. I wanted just a sneak peak, but Logan said straight No. He left me alone to explore the house as he carried our belongings in from his car. I was planning to sneak down there but there wasn't enough time.
So I went through a box that was marked 'Movies '. Of course I picked Nicholas Sparks 'The note book'. I waited for Logan to play the movie. He laid next to me as I played the movie. Of course he pays no mind to the movie and begins talking to our little pup. He also tried getting him to kick, which was sweet an also upsetting haha. I realized I have an amazing mate and I'm lucky he is so pressed about our baby. He is going to be the best dad to our pup.
I fell asleep as Allie ran into Noahs fence. I left Logan singing and talking to the pup as if he could talk back. It was adorable and funny, definitely a memory worth remembering.
I was asleep for an hour and a half before waking up from Logan fighting with someone on the phone. He didn't sound to pleased, he was actually using his alpha tone. He wasn't anywhere in sight and I could hear him as if he was screaming on top of me.
His voice echo around the entire house I tried using my shifter ears to recall where he was at. Then his muscular figure came from the kitchen. He looks so sexy but he was so mad.
I walked over faster then I should have. I was craving just to feel his skin on mine, his sent was addicting. I planted a soft quick kiss to his lips. His gentle little moan drived me insane. I pulled him onto the couch and we began to make out, but as soon as I tried pulling his shirt off he jumped off me.
"Nevaeh, I'm sorry baby But I - I just can't."
"What? Why? "
"I can't do it with you pregnant "
A tear rolled down my face, my mate just rejected me cause im pregnant.
I went to our bedroom and laid there trying to make sense of all this. But I couldn't be strong enough to hold back the tears. Was I fat and ugly to him? Or was it because the pup might not be his?
* Logan's P.O.V *
Nevaeh has been upstair all morning by herself. Its killing me not to run up there and lay by her side. Its killing me even more that she wants me and I can't bring myself to do it. I mean its not that I don't want Nevaeh. Its the fact that I don't want my pup to get hurt or to even feel me.
So we just can't, for are pups sake id feel horrible if anything happened to him. Her sent keeps getting heavier through the air, its drive me belistic. But I also cought the wiff of snow, a sent I was not familiar with.
I ran up the steps as fast as my human form could. The unfamiliar sent was getting stronger and stronger as I approach our bed room. I felt anger and jealousy appear as my face poured out steam.
I slammed the door open waking Nevaeh up by giving her a heart attack. But the sent was definitely strong as can be yet no one was in here. They had to be in here somewhere but where? No one should know where we are, Alphas are supposed to be living somewhere secret and secure. My family isn't even aloud to know where my mate and I are. So who has found is was a threat to me.
The closer I came to Nevaeh the stronger the sent was. It finally struck me. Its our pups temp sent. Every pup has a sent to allow the mother and father know he is upset, Or extremely happy. Its like talking in the whomb sorta. He will have a different sent when he is born, depending how fast he adapts to his new environment.
* Nevaeh's P.O.V *
I woke up to logan smelling my stomach as I got a huge wiff of snow.
"Babe what exactly are you doing?"
I was alittle worried.
"You smell that? Its our pup, he is trying to notify us he is happy or sad. "
I Just laid there in shock. That would explain why I was always smelling snow when Logan wasn't around. The baby wanted Logan close, Logans sent comforted him.
* Next day, 5:30 pm *
We arrived at the pack house for the pup shower. It was beautiful I wanted to shove everything in my mouth. Well food only of course, I was so excited. I just couldn't wait to open all the gifts. As I was about to open the first one Logan let out a loud growl. His sent was strong, I turned to see whom Id thought id never see. Jake!
